Chapter 11

Skylar's P.O.V.

I woke up groaning. The sun was shining directly on my face. I turned over and covered myself in the big blanket. I let out my breath and relaxed, trying to fall asleep again. The blanket was ripped off my body making me shiver. I was really cold for a reason!

I opened my eyes but closed them right away. The brightness burning my eyes, it made them water. I groaned again stretching my arms and legs. I opened my eyes again and kept them open, letting them adjust to the light.

After they adjusted I looked at the man standing in front of me. His arms were crossed when he looked down at me with a serious expression.

I was startled, I looked around and saw I was in his room still. I sat up and got out of his bed, my vision got a little blurry making me really dizzy.

"Please leave my room," he said making room for me to leave his room.

"Um, of course," I said speed walking out of his room stumbling a little.

Once in the hall I rushed to my 'room' and closed the door leaning against it. I looked around and made my way to my bed. I really hoped Carmon was okay right now. I knew she had already left. I had a few concerns but nothing that couldn't be avoided.

One thing was Derek's office, if Derek was in there and noticed the keys missing.

If they decided to go somewhere and needed the keys.

And if they go and down to check on Carmon and find her not there.

I went to the bathroom to take a shower. I knew in a little bit Cassidy and Rylie would be making breakfast if they haven't already. I washed my hair thinking about what my mom must be thinking right now.

Does she even know I'm gone? She could think I'm still at college, but I would think they would ask her why I haven't been there either. I cried thinking about all the things my mom could be going through right now.

I got out of the shower and went downstairs. I smelt something wonderfully familiar. I couldn't quite place it though. Once I was at the table I notice all the guys eating. Ben was arguing with Luke that waffles taste like pancakes when Luke thought they don't. I ignored their stupid argument and went to the kitchen. Rylie and Cassidy were dishing up their plates. I thought now would be a good time to tell them about Carmon being gone.

"Guys, I need to tell you something," I whispered.

"What's wrong?" asked Cassidy.

"We are going to have to cover for Carmon, she isn't here." I said.

"What do you mean she isn't here?" Rylie asked. That was one of the only times I have heard her speak.

"I got her the keys for the vehicles last night, this morning she took off to find us help." I said.

They both smiled and looked at each other. I smiled at them and we all did a group hug.

"We will do what ever it takes to give her the most amount of time," said Cassidy.

"Great, now lets eat, I'm starving," I said rubbing my stomach.

They both laughed while getting me my plate. We walked to the table and sat across from the men. They were very quiet, it was actually quite awkward.

"Ben can you go and get Carmon? She needs to eat," said Derrek.

"I'll do it, I haven't started eating yet anyway," I said quickly standing up. I hoped I didn't look to suspicious. No one seemed to notice from what I could tell.
