Chapter 5

Skylar P.O.V

Rylie and I woke up by Luke, the blond, yelling at us to go downstairs. Rylie looked at me with a worried expression.

"Everything will be fine," I said reassuringly. I didn't know what was going to happen, her freaking out wasn't going to help what is going on though, I know that for sure.

She nodded and stretched. I joined her and stretched out my legs feeling my toes crack. We stood and I linked my arm in her's. She was about the same height as me. We walked out and to the stairs.

We slowly walked down each step. The steps squeaked every time you pressed on it. I couldn't see anybody at the bottom of the stairs so we just waited there.

We looked around the house till we heard the stairs squeak behind us. We looked behind us at the same time to see two more girls, one looking like Rylie.

The one looking like Rylie burst into tears and ran down the stairs almost looking like she was flying. I stepped away from Rylie and watched the sisters hug the life out of one another. I smiled at the second of happiness.

The other girl made her way down looking quite grumpy. She held out her hand to me.

"I'm Carmon, the maid, what are you?" She asked seeming uninterested. She had brown hair and eyes like me, her face had a very vicious look to it.

"I don't know," I said in a casual tone.

"That girl there is Cassidy, she's the cook," she said pointing to Rylie's look-alike.

I nodded, "that's Rylie, the other cook. "

"Great meeting you, now what are we supposed to do," she said slumping her shoulders.

"We wait I guess," I said. This whole situation was just awkward and sad.

I heard someone clear their throat and we all turned to look at them.

Derek stood there with his arms crossed. On either side of him there were two men.

On his left side there was Luke and Ben. On the right there was Quinn and the guy that carried Rylie in our room.

"Come right this way ladies," Derek said his hand pointing to the huge dining table.

Us girls all sat on one side of the table while the guys sat on the other side. The men were sitting in the same order they were standing. I was sitting next to Carmon with Rylie on the other side of me. Next to Rylie was Cassidy. I don't know why the guys are so crazy about their order but oh well. I think the Derek guy must be like their leader or something.

"As you may all know, you girls have certain jobs," Derek said casually.

'Not me,' I thought to myself.

"You will not be allowed to leave and you will do your jobs," he continued.

"I will introduce us first then you will introduce yourselves," he said.

"This is Luke, he is you youngest and most hyper of the gang." He said pointing to luke.

Gang. So this is a gang, I had suspected it was some sort of gang but I wasn't sure. Us girls were taken by a gang and we now have to work for them. This is horrible. These guys have just ruined our lives so they won't have to pick up after there selves.

"This is Ben, he is my second in command," Derek said pointing to Ben.

"This is Quinn, he does the dirty work but don't be fooled, he's like a kitten," Derek said making Qinn growl.

"This is Damon, he's always grumpy." Derek said pointing to Damon making Damon glare at him.

"And I am Derek, I am the leader of this gang," he smiled proudly.

I spoke up first thinking no one else would, "I am Skylar and I don't know why I'm here."

"I'm Cassidy and I'm supposed to be the cook," she said avoided eye contact, "this is my sister Rylie, she doesn't talk much and she is also supposed to be a cook."

"I'm Carmon and I don't want to be here," Carmon said grumpy.

I looked at the guys wondering if they were mad at her. I noticed Derek didn't look pleased and Damon looked amused.

I rolled my eyes, "what am I suposed to do here?" I asked.

Derek looked at me, "we will talk about that later, right now, Rylie and Cassidy will start their jobs," he said smiling.

Nobody moved and I saw Derek frown.

"Now!" Damon yelled banging his fists on the table. Dang he must be hungry.

We all flinched and Rylie and Cassidy got up shuffling to the kitchen.

"Ben, give the rest of them the tour," Derek said.

After Ben showed us the whole downstairs, which was an average downstairs, he showed us the upstairs. We first went down the hall with many many rooms. He said the first bedroom was Quinn's, then Damon's, then his, then Luke's, then last but not least...Derek's. On the other side of the hall there were three offices and two bathrooms. He said everyone got there own bathroom because some of the rooms had there own bathrooms.

Not only was I surprised by the amount of bathrooms they had but I was also surprised he was telling us where everything was. I mean we could go into one of their rooms while they are sleeping and stab their handsome faces.... I mean hideous, defiantly hideous faces....

***Cassidy's P.O.V.***

After being yelled at Rylie and I instantly left to the kitchen to make something. We looked in the cupboards to see if they had anything. They didn't have much other then roman noodles and mac and cheese. We decided to combine the noodles from the roman and mac and cheese and make alfredo sauce to top it off with. It isn't much but we don't really have anything to work with.

Once the noodles were boiled and the sauce was added we split it all into nine dishes. That is all the people that I know of that are here. Five men and four women altogether.

I wish they would just let us go, or at least Rylie. She is the most innocent girl, I don't know how long she can take it here either. She has anxiety and asthma, she needs her medication. I want to talk to one of these guys about it but I need to know who to trust the most.

"You thinking about me Cass?" someone whispered into my ear, sending a shiver all the way down my spine.

Fault in Our Stars! Hazel and Augustus <3

I wont spoil it if you haven't or want to read it but it's so sad. My friend actually told me what happened at the end before I read it and I still haven't forgiven her for it, ha-ha.
