"Don't you think you've had enough to drink?" asks the bartender with a raised eyebrow.

"Noope," I slurred.

"I think you have had enough, I'll call a cab," said Ben pulling his phone out of his pocket.

The only reason he needs to call a cab is because Jack and Hailee left without me. I wasn't all that upset though because I was having fun with Ben. Jack and Hailee have been doing things without me for a year it is reasonable that they wanted to leave.

Ben was on the phone when we were waiting outside. I was just thinking about my birthday and stuff. I mean I'm twenty-one and this is the craziest thing I've ever done. I'm not super outgoing, I'm even surprised I said hi to Ben. I was always the one to get the best grades and to never think of anything like going to parties.

Tonight that's all going to change though. I don't know what I'm going to do yet but I need to do something I wouldn't ever think of doing in a million years.

I looked over at Ben to see what he was doing. He was leaning against the lamp post smiling at me. I guess I never really took a good look at him before. I can see him very clearly now though. He kind of looked like Channing Tatum but not as hot. He also had a lot of tattoos and an ear piercing.

"What?" I asked.

"You were spinning in circles then stopped like you thought of something important," he said chuckling.

"I did, I know where we're going to go next," I said smiling.

"Oh? and where is that?" he asked.

"A tattoo parlor," I grinned.

He looked at me confused for a second then actually looked like he was considering it.

"That sounds like a brilliant idea," he said as the cab pulled up next to us.

"I know right!"

....

..

"Is it going to hurt? What should I get?" I asked in the big chair.

I was looking through the book of tattoos that didn't interest me. I looked over at Ben and thought I should get a better look at his tattoos.

"Take off your shirt," I said pointing at him.

He looked confused at first then smirked, "You don't have to tell me twice,"

I giggled at his response but looked at his tattoos in a serious form. He had a snake running from his shoulder to his elbow. He had one that was barbed wire that formed a heart on his heart. There was a bunch of tally marks on his other arm by his shoulder, which was weird but I didn't really think about it.

"Turn around now, I need to see the other ones." I said giggling again. I don't know why I was so giggly but it was kind of annoying.

He turned around and I saw one of the most beautiful tattoos I've ever seen it was really big and directly on the middle of his back. It was a black and white skull with perfect shading. It looked like there was almost something dripping off it . It's hard to explain. It's mouth was wide open with some sort of symbol in it's mouth. I really liked the symbol it was really pretty. It probably has some sort of really good meaning to it too.

"That symbol in it's mouth, what does it mean?" I asked tracing it with my finger.

He shivered from my touch, "You never know how strong you are... until being strong is the only choice you have." He said. He eyes looked a little distant, but I could understand why.
