Front page Romance (Gate)

You walked up the streets of Abel city. You had special entry from Gate to enter his lab. He wanted to interview you and your amazing medical skills. You had found a cure for a deadly disease that was close to wiping out every human and Reploid in existence. This fell from your mind, due to the fact that your feet were aching from the long walk. You finally reached the end, and the familiar face was there. "Oh! (Name)! You're here!" Gate called out, waving. You waved back. He dragged you off to his lab, where he done all of his research.
"(Name)! I shall now question you!" Gate said, and he began questioning you... about why, how, and all sorts of other things. But, he seemed to know more about you than you were comfortable with. Anyways, the day came to an end, and she let you leave. The next morning, you were surprised at the newspaper.
Gate had written this line for the newspaper:
"Today, I had been visited by the most beautiful and lovable person ever, to get an interview from them."

You were instantly confused, but then you figured it out. You ran to him, thrusting the newspaper in his face. "You like me, don't you?" You demanded to know. Gate's eyes widened, and his cheeks became a plastered red color. He nodded slowly, breaking eye contact... You sighed, and patted his head. "Well, aren't you supposed to ask me something?" You said. Gate took a deep breath. "Will you go to dinner with me?!" He asked hurriedly, and you smiled and nodded. You left for home, to prepare yourself. Soon later, Gate came to your door and pulled you away.

You went on your date, and he was rather clumsy. He spilled stuff, dropped stuff, tripped, all sorts of stuff. Every time though, you both just laughed it off (after you asked him if she was alright). The food was definitely good, and it was a nice restaurant. Gate was nice and kind too. Sadly, though, the nice came to an end...

Years had passed. You and Gate were still going strong, but Gate was in a bad mood. Whenever you asked him what's wrong, he never told you. It was getting on your nerves too, when he finally told you:
"All other girls who have been with a guy for years have at least kissed them! I haven't even been kissed by yo-"
You cut him off but kissing her right on the lips. Gate seemed surprised, but his eyes closed and she kissed back. You pulled away after a few moments. "Is that better?" You asked. Gate smiled and nodded. "I love you (Name)." "I love you too Gate"
