Smile! (X)

You sat across from the blue reploid, inside the HQ. A gloomy look sat upon your face, and X had a happy smile on his face. "How are you enjoying the HQ so far, Gappy?" He said, looking at you with a content look upon his handsome face.

You were what was referred to as a Gappy, or a human outsider. The term had appeared due to a certain reploid bringing in people secretly. You gave a small glare to X. "I just want to go home, but, look! I have to stay in this boring place!" You looked away from X, who had let out a loud sigh.

"(Y/N), why are you so against Abel city? What is so great about the outside world?" He asked, which caused you to react badly. "This world is too much  for me, too many violent acts and maverick attacks,I never had that back home!" You had stood up, and you were almost screaming at the reploid. He was oddly unphased, before sighing again. His smile had faded, and now he looked hurt. After seeing his face, you had instantly regretted scolding him like that. "I'm sorry." You said, sitting back down, with a soft thud.

"It's alright." X said, the happiness missing from her voice. He turned his gaze to look out the open door of the HQ. "It's getting late..." he noted. "We should get to bed." He reached over and took your cup which had no tea left, and he walked to the rather small kitchen. You rested your elbow on the table, and your head on your hand.

"Hey. (Y/N). You should smile." X said, taking his fingers and pushing up his cheeks to form a smile on his face. You didn't smile in return, you just glared. X watched you, waiting for a response, before pouting when he didn't get one. He sat down beside you, and forced your cheeks up with his fingers. "(Y/N), smile." He said, forcefully. You slapped away his hands. He did not seem ready to give up.

"(Y/N). Why won't you smile?" He asked, giving a pouting face. "I think you already know the reason." You said. You had let out a heavy sigh. "Look, I can't send you back home at the time, the last attack drained too much of my power. When I have enough, I'll send you home right away. Just stop being so grumpy, and smile!" He gave a large smile again.

You decided to go along with it, and gave a small smile, obviously faked. X let out a groan. "Nooo! An actual smile!" X was acting like a child, which actually got you to smile. And a little laugh. X eyes had lit up. "Yay! You smiled! Now keep that smile!" He sounded very triumphant, and a happy smile crossed his face again, before he got up to get ready for bed.

"Damn it X. You ruined my grumpy mood..." Was all you said, being unable to stop smiling now.
