You were always a big sweet tooth,wanting to eat sweets when they were around.
But who could blame you? They were the best thing in existence.Especially lifesavers,even though they weren't considered sweets,they were amazing.

Speaking of Lifesavers,Lifesaver was the best thing that ever happened to you after you took the job of being a nurse for the Maverick hunters.He was so charming and kind,and was always willing to help you.He was...well....Perfect...

You couldn't help but to admire and daydream about him. Even though you would sometimes get teased about it by the other hunters,but you didn't care.

"Uh....(Y/N)? You're staring again..."

"Wha..?...oh,sorry Cinnamon...couldn't help it again..."

Cinnamon was your best friend out of everyone in the HQ,she was really sweet and understanding,not only that,but she even tries to help you get set up with Lifesaver!

"You know,if you like him that much,why don't you try to confess to him already?"

"I would...but I can't even go a SECOND without melting into a puddle..."

"Then try something creative!"

"But what...?"

"I don't know...use something that will stand out...I suppose..."

Suddenly,an idea popped into your head,you knew exactly what to do.

"I got it! Cinnamon,Do you think you can let me into Lifesaver's office before I leave?"

"I'll try...why do you need to get into his office?"

"It's all part of the plan...."

This would be the greatest plan of all of history.
After Lifesaver left his final shift for the day,you snuck into his office and commenced Operation:Sweetheart....
That's what Cinnamon called it anyways...

Little by little,you began to place tiny sweets into the shape of a giant heart on Lifesaver's desk.in the center,a whole bag's worth of lifesavers were arranged neatly,spelling out "I love you".It was pretty hard to not eat them,and even if you tried,Cinnamon would scold you about it...
For a woman so sweet,she can be quite tough.

"I finally did it...."
You took a few steps back and admired your work...
"Lifesaver could never deny something like this!"

"It's sweet and all,but can we go now? I don't wanna be caught, (Y/N)"

"Alright,alright,we can go now..."

You and Cinnamon began to walk out of Lifesaver's office. The masterpiece was in place...but now all you could think was how he would react...

(The next day...)

"Did it get ruined...? Did he not show up today....? Did something bad happen to him....?!"

You were freaking out.You couldn't decide if lifesaver would like it or not.It was driving you crazy.

"(Y/N)....calm down...maybe Lifesaver is running late...."

"Running late...? Cinnamon I'm right here..."

You didn't even hesitate at all to turn your head,you could already tell who it was.
"Well speak of the devil..."

"Nice to see you too (Y/N),Cinnamon,can you give us some privacy?"

"I'll be glad to!"

In the blink of an eye,Cinnamon dashed off,leaving you alone with lifesaver.

"So....anyways....This morning....I found a surprise on my desk....do you know who happened to know who did it...?"

It was impossible to deny it now,Lifesaver was staring at you intently....almost like he was staring into your soul....

"I....Uh...."

You froze.You had no idea what to do.

"(Y/N).....I know it was you all along...with the sweets and everything..."

"H-How....D-Did you.....Know....?"

"I know you admire me sometimes. Cinnamon told me..."

"S-She did?!"

"Yeah....it was sweet and all,telling me with candy....but you know what I like more than candy...?"

Lifesaver approached your face slowly.

"You"

Before you could even react,Lifesaver licked your cheek lightly,whispering...

"You are better than sweets..."

You couldn't believe this was happening.
"D-Does that mean...you return my love...?"

"Absolutely....I love you....more than anything in the world...."

"Even more than sweets...?"
