X had always been an interesting character, when you first met him, you both stuck together like glue which was rare for someone like him. He was different, a lot different, X well, he is a vampire, crazy yeah - it's a long story. You'd both had been together so you were totally cool around him, he never showed any sigh of wanting to feed from you, he'd always gotten his feed from what you liked to call the 'Vampire black market'.

When he fed,you let him do it in the comfort of his own room and you let him have his privacy, you knew that he got some form of high when he fed,but after a couple of hours he was immerse from his room no different from when he went in, just with a full stomach. He didn't need to eat human food but he still ate with you at meal times. You were the only one that knew he was a vampire, nobody else, you both shared a room in the HQ.

''X, do you want anything to eat?''

''What do you think?'' X shot back making you roll your eyes, X was nothing more that a short tempered man with a odd personality, ''Sorry for being nice, sharp tooth''

You heard X scoff at your nickname, there had always been playful banter between the two of you it was just how your relationship worked, best friends that could throw childish insults at one another knowing that it was just banter between friends.''I was thinking of putting Twilight on, what do you think?''

''Do it and I'll murder you, its a shitty representation of Vampires, we are fearless, frightening creatures not sparkling bitches.''

''Sure, sure, frightening'' You plopped down at the side of him, bowl of popcorn in hand, nudging his shoulder. ''You can see me quake in my fluffy socks''

''Bite me'' He growled, ''Maybe later, but first - Marvel Marathon!'' 

You'd always been a massive fan of Marvel, the comics are what you lived for back when you were younger and the films were in a word,awesome. X never understood your fascination with the films but he watched them with you never the less, it was long until he could feel your weight pressing against his shoulder, with a sideways glance he peered down at you. Your head was nestled comfortable on his shoulder, your breathing even - you were asleep. X balled his hands into fists as he eyes caught the skin of your exposed neck he could feel the tingling in his gums as his canine teeth grew, ready to feed. He gritted his teeth and with care; gently slid out and laid you down, throwing a blanket over you and retreated to his room.

The next day, you didn't see much of X, he'd gone out probably to get his next feed but as the hours ticked by it was strange he didn't do things like this, staying out all night wasn't something that he did. It wasn't that you were lonely no, you had your friend Zero come over to chat for a bit.You were getting ready to say goodbye to Zero when X came back through the door, you gave him a smile which he didn't seem to acknowledge he just brushed past you and went into his room. Like on his period or something.

''Everything alright?''

''Yeah, yeah, he's just being plain ol' X'' You spoke but then again you weren't to sure yourself, ''Well, I best get going''

X emerged from his room, he watched with piercing steel eyes as you let Zero out of the house but his attention was more on the flesh of your neck, he could feel his pulse quicken, his palms grow sweaty, his breathing becoming irregular. The tingling in his gums returned when you threw your head back laughing at something, exposing more of your tender neck. After waving Zero goodbye, you closed the door with a soft click, you turned on your heel and almost had a heart attack.
