But maybe it was because of him.

You sighed as you continue to look over your paperwork.You were given more than usual,so you were ticked off.
You were known as being a hothead.
It was bothering except for one person.

Double

"Guess who?"

Your eyes were covered by the hands of a familiar reploid.

"Double you know I don't have time for this"

The peckish reploid beamed directly at you,still holding his smile.

"Aw come on,don't be so cold to me,what have I ever done to you?"

You growled,which led to him scolding you.

"You know (Y/N),your actions have consequences. They may not be pretty,nor will people always forgive the bad ones"

"Screw you Double,now leave me alone."

Double sighed "Fine then"
He turned and walked away.

I know you despise me, don't lie; the dealt damage is done.
But, if I can hate you more strongly, then will I have won?

  These feelings will not disappear; that much is clear.
  Even buried so deep, there is something that's connecting us here.

-----Weeks later-----

You walked through the hallways of the HQ,looking for X.
You had to give him some paperwork,but you were distracted of what double said to you weeks ago.

"You know (Y/N),your actions have consequences. They may not be pretty,nor will people always forgive the bad ones"

You couldn't believe what he said. It was true,but he would never meant to say it to you.

As you entered X's office,A loud cry echoed through the door,along with some yelling. It sounded like X.

Immediately,you opened the door to see a giant yellow man and a broken down X on the wall

You didn't know why but the man reminded you of Double

"And stay away from (Y/N),DO YOU HEAR ME X?!"

"Y-Yes....just....l-let me go...."

You began to raise your (Type of weapon)
"What the hell is going on?!"

The large male turned around and dropped X...

"(Y/N)....! I-I can Explain!"

"Who the hell are you?!"

I'll keep you from crossing, a loss for a loss.  Look me in the eyes–

The man began to shrink down to a smaller size,slowly,it began to turn into Double.

"D-Double?! Why!?"

"(Y/N)....I can explain....I....just.....well..."

"I can't believe it.all this time,I thought the 'Wise Double' was a good guy...instead...YOU ARE A FILTHY TRAITOR!

"(Y/N)! I had no choice!"

"You said it yourself! 'Your actions have consequences! They may not be pretty and not everyone will forgive the bad ones!'"

"Just let me FINISH! At first it was for Sigma...but now....It was....BECAUSE I LOVE YOU OK?! If you hate me...."

Double began to sob

"I understand...I'm sorry...I'm such a monster....whose just jealous for your love...."

You couldn't help it.You actually felt pity for him. And even something else.....love.

"Oh double....I forgive you...I don't care what you have done because I still care about you...even though I've been so cold....I love you...."

The tears from Double's eyes turned into tears of joy.

For better or worse, if I hold this guard, I can be sure:

"I love you too....(Y/N)"
Pulling him into a tight embrace,you let the Yellow reploid cry.

You stroked his cheek and gave Double a quick kiss on the forehead,causing him to smile.

"(Y/N)...do you want to escape this stupid city with me?"

"I would do anything to be with you..."

"Great!"
Double transformed into his second form before picking you up bridal style,causing him to blush.

"Come on (Y/N),let's go before Zero comes back and blames it on you"

"Someday, no one even will try to cross them anymore..."
