Jøsh Dun.
"Same procedures, Josh" Dr. Way said through the speaker. He was sitting on the other side of the room, separated with glass, with a clipboard cradled on his arm.
Dr. Gerard Way or as I like to call, Dr. Way, has been my doctor since my early tests and sessions. He's nice and cares about his patients a lot, though he smells of nicotine sometimes. He has long hair for a guy but he quiffs it to look professional, cheekbones are very sharp like his jawline, and pale skin.
The room smelled different today; I wonder why. Anyway, I sat down on the small chair like I always do. Before I turned on the TV I noticed there was a chart hung on the white painted wall; I have never seen it before.
"Dr. Way" I called
"Yes, Josh?" He said again through the speakers
"Is there a new chart hung on the wall" I said as I pointed at the chart
Dr. Way frowned and pressed the speaker button. "I'm sorry, Josh, but there is no chart hung on the wall"
"Oh."
"Did you take your medication this morning?" Dr. Way asked whilst writing something on his clipboard.
"No," I said as I rubbed the nape of my neck, "I forgot"
"Make sure to take it next time" he said, "I'm assigning a nurse to remind you"
I nod and faced the turned off TV.
One last time, Dr. Way pressed the speaker button. "Shall we start?"
I grabbed the remote placed beside me and turned on the TV.
My favorite childhood show was on—Tom & Jerry. It was the episode where Tom got smashed by a piano while chasing Jerry. Ah, good old days.
"Josh, what are you watching?" Dr. Way asked
I wanted to say, "Nothing. It's all white noise" but I can't. I can't lie to him.
"Tom & Jerry is on" I said
Dr. Way wrote on his clipboard and did a few things on his control table. "Flip to the next channel?" He asked
I pressed a button and a movie was on but the audio didn't seem to fit the movie.
"What're you watching now?"
"A movie," I said "but the audio doesn't fit the movie"
"What do you hear in the audio?"
"White noise"
"Okay." Dr. Way said "Turn off the TV and come to the other side of the room"
I did what I was told to and entered the door to the other room.
"How was the test?" I asked but he didn't answer my question.
"Do you know why the audio didn't fit the movie you were watching?"
I shook my head no.
"I increased the volume on the next channel but it was still white noise. Your state is still the same but I'm glad you heard the white noise. I'll see you next session, Josh. Take your meds"
I nodded slowly.
I'll take my meds after this. I thought and listed all the things that I saw that isn't real.

The bird inside my roomWait, was the Tyler guy real?
"Dr. Way," I called
"Yes, Josh?"
"Does Dr. Urie have a new patient today?"
"I don't know. I'll ask him later. Why?"
"I'm not sure if the guy I spoke to a few minutes ago is real. I forgot my meds this morning so there's a chance he isn't real"
"I'll ask, Josh"
