Tyler Jøseph.

When morning came, I woke up lying on my floor sweaty and disheveled, clutching onto the short strands of the carpet floor.

I propped myself up gingerly then wiped the sweat trickling down my forehead with my hand. My eyes stung. It burnt every time I'd blink.

I rubbed my eyes to clear my vision better and glanced to the clock.

"10:40 am" it read

Shit.

Therapy appointment is 9:30. I'm late for an hour. Quickly, I look for my phone, hoping I will be able to text or call Dr. Urie that I 'slept on my alarm". But instead, I saw a text from him.

(Text Message) Dr. Urie
9:11 am
Tyler, I am sorry but I cannot attend our therapy session today. Unfortunately, Ohio State Hospital for the Mentally Ill (OSHMI) has arranged an urgent meeting. But you will still come to Crimson Falls for I have listed you in today's support group at 11:00 am. Don't worry, regarding your anxiety, you will only be required to introduce yourself. It usually takes an hour so sit there and listen, that's all. Bring a notebook and a pen. Thank you, I hope you understand. Sincerely, Dr. Brendon Urie.

I ran my fingers through my hair when I saw 'support group' in the text. I did not like support groups—I think everybody hates it. The only thing that will lessen my anxiety over attending is for my 'friend' to be a part of it too.

There's a small chance but I'm gonna hope. Maybe this time I won't lose it.
