Shadows Of My Heart

Bullying Kills

You see the tears stream down my face,

As I stand at the rivers edge,

I stare at the rivers ripples as the raindrops fall,

While my tears join in the waters dance.

I sit at the edge of my sanity,

As it slowly slips away,

I smile, laugh and giggle and play,

But none of them mean anything,

Everyone doesn't notice the pain that is hidden within,

As they see only what they want to see,

A depressed young girl is an unimaginable sight,

As no young girl deserves to feel like they are alone,

I lay on the ground listening to natures sounds,

Crying as I drag the blade across my wrist,

Sitting there watching my blood spotting and pour out,

Dripping down my hand onto the grass beneath,

My sight starts to turn black as my blood slowly stops,

The mean people in school have gotten their wish,

They all said I was worthless and pathetic,

They told me to kill myself, so here’s to you,

I am gone now and forever,

This is what you all wanted,

I get to sit and watch as your guilt,

Slowly eats all your happiness away,

Just like you all did to me.
