I wake up to the sound of my front door opening and I quickly shoot up. I look around and Jack isn't on the spare bed. A well known person just went missing in a very hated person's house. I slowly get out of my bed and grab a 5 pound weight that I never use. Walking down the stairs, I hear even more noise. Whispers. The sound is coming from my living room, so I quickly run in there ready to hit the intruder in the head, but what I see is NOT what I expected.
Here, we have Johnson sitting up in my couch smiling, but wrapped around his waist are Kayla's legs, and wrapped around his neck are her arms. They aren't really doing anything too inappropriate, and I don't want to kill their mood so I slowly back away. Unfortunately, I trip and drop the weight on the floor.
Kayla instantly looks up and jumps off of Jack as fast as The Flash. I swear all I did was blink.
"Ummmmmmm," I say.
"Good morning?" Jack says.
"This is awkward," Kayla sighs.
I nod.
"So are you two together?" I ask
They both shake their heads no.
"WHY TF YOU LYIN WHY U ALWAYS LYIN"
Johnson chuckles and lays down on the couch. Those two are weird.

*Two weeks later*
I can't believe today is the day I graduate. I'm done. I'm finally done! After graduation, we have prom and I cannot wait to dance with Myles and prove to Dylan that I am loveable.
Right now, I am brushing up my braids in the mirror. Headscarfs don't do 100% of the work, you know? Once I finish that, I put on my gown, grab my cap, and kiss my grandmother goodbye. She'll be coming to my graduation, but I have to get there early to practice.
You may be wondering, where is Myles? His flight got delayed. Yeah, bummer. I just hope he'll make it on time. I want the person I love to see me. But guess who else is on that flight? Jack. Johnson, not Gilinsky. If my best friend and my boyfriend don't make it, I'll be ruined.
~
"He's still not here," Kayla paces back and forth.
"I'm just as stressed Kayla, but don't let ruin your mood too much. They'll make it," I say while sitting down in my assigned row.
The speeches were boring and all the awards were as well. Of course I didn't win any. They all literally think I'm a piece of shit.
"Are you guys ready to graduate?" My teacher exclaims and we all reply wiry cheers.

"Mark Tyler" ew....
"Dylan Williams" ew
And then my name is called. Before I walk up the stairs, I look in the audience. Johnson and my grandmother are cheering, but where is Myles?
"You look so beautiful in your little cap and gown," the person giving me my scroll said. I have been looking down this entire time, but that remark made me look up.
Myles.
"Congratulations baby ," he says before kissing my forehead.
He wipes the tears from my eyes and engulfs me into a hug.
" I thought you didn't make it," I cry into his shoulder.
"I'll always be here for you Ashlynn. I love you. Now lets stop holding up the line," Myles says before taking my hand and walking off the stage.
He walks me back to my seat and then goes to sit with Jack and my grandmother. In case you didn't know, I am in love with that boy. Or man. I mean, he is 23.
~
"You actually want to do make up? Why the change of heart?" Kayla asks me.
"This is my last night. I want to go all out, and I want to make Myles squirm," I say while laughing.
I don't really put on a bunch of makeup. It's just eyeliner and mascara, which for me is a lot.
My dress is black, strapless, and fits my curves perfectly. That's the making Myles squirm part. And the heals. I've never worn heals outside before, but Kayla has been helping me practice walking in them for the past two weeks.Honestly, I feel kind of dumb dressing like this, but I already started. Might as well finish.
Once I hear my grandmother giggling, I know that Myles is here.
My grandmother yells for me to come down, but I purposely make them wait a few minutes longer to build the anticipation. I honestly would have forgotten if I didn't get a tweet notification of Myles
Currently waiting for bae to come downstairs and show me how beautiful she is
I giggle, put my phone away and walk to my steps.
Normally in movies the guy holds in his excitement of seeing the girl until she gets to him, but Myles didn't. And my grandmother didn't mind. In fact, before I even finished walking down the stairs, Myles ran up and hugged me.
"You look so beautiful, I couldn't wait," Myles says while lifting me up bridal style.
My grandmother pulls us apart when we reach the end of the stairs to give me a hug.
"I may forget many things, but you remind me so much if your mother on her prom day. She's always with you, and you don't deserve to be judged by anyone for what happened. Have fun sweetheart," she says before letting go of the hug.
~
Prom was...prom. Kind of a let down honestly. Maybe if I hadn't met Myles and cared about prom queens and kings, I would have liked it. Prom isn't over yet, but Myles and I just kind of ditched. Uncle Dante picked up my grandmother so Myles and I are home alone.
"You know," Myles says while wrapping his arms around me. "You look so fucking sexy tonight. I've been trying to keep it together all day."
I look up at him.
"Put back on your heels and walk around for me, please?"
Suddenly, I am pushed into the wall. " That's it," Myles says while kissing my neck. "I want you so bad," he says while he leads me to my room. He knows my house better than I do.
"Sit," he says.
I still haven't said anything.
"Myles, I want this. Please?"
He nods as he goes to the other side of the bed and zips down my dress.
