Next chapter and it's thanksgiving, um well I think I am only going to have like 22 chapters so it looks like there is only ten more to go.

I am going to enter this in to the Watty Awards so means even more to me if you could vote/comment for this.

Anyways I hope you like this and please tell me what you think.

Also I need an actor for Aston, so does anyone have any idea, i'll dedicated a chapter to you.

Thank God for Hometowns by Carrie Underwood is on the side.

AND OMG I WAS SAD ENOUGH TO CHECK IT YOU CAN DEADICATE A CHAPTER TO YOURSELF AND YOU CAN, YAY

Ashton’s arms are around my waist as we walk up the pathway and my eyes gaze over the small little house. I knock on the door and Carter opens it just seconds later. I pull away from Ashton and wrap my arms around him, hugging him and saying happy thanksgiving to him which is returned. I take Ashton’s hand and pull him into the house. It’s very familiar, it hasn’t changed much since I last came here, and the only difference is the house is so clean. When I came here as a child, Carters toys would take up the hallway and a game we use to play was jumping over them. It was just so much fun.

I follow Carter, holding Ashton’s hand in mine and we walk into the sitting room. I'm glad that they haven’t started putting up the decorations because November is just too early. There is a little bit of tinsel and a few cards by the fire lace but other than that, it just looks like how I remember. The walls are a cream color which goes rather well with the dull green sofas. Carter’s mother and father are on one sofa with Carter’s eight year old sister squeezed between the two.

Carter had very similar looks to his father, apart from his eyes that are the splitting image of his mother. They both had blonde locks and she had her hair pulled up in to a bun. She had red lip stick and very thick eye liner on which looks a little strange. The little girl between the two of them had hair which was neither brown nor red, but a cross between the two colors. Her eyes were brown and she was looking at me with a confused expression. She wouldn’t remember me because the last time she saw me was when she was a little over four.

“Sarah thanks so much for letting me crash your little family event.” She stands up and walks over, kissing me on each cheek and pulling me into a hug. Her eyes look over me and my eyes shift around the room where I take in the rest of the family. One of Carter’s cousins I know because I ran into him while I was dating Jordan. He was pretty nice but a little bit arrogant. His father was from the Caribbean and it was these looks he seems to have got. Like Carter, he is the spitting image of his father. The same skin tone, although his hair was a few shades lighter and had more of it, but it was in the same kind of style as Carter. The women next to his father I guessed was his mother. She was the only one out of the three that I hadn’t met, having come across both Sam, and his father, Jonathan.

The other three people I only know from pictures. The girl must be about twelve now and she has the same facial structures as the man sitting next to her. Her hair is dark and I see that she looks really similar to Carter's father. I guess there is this certain trait in the family.

“Okay well, you know Oliver and do you remember Anna?”

“Yes, she has grown up a bit.” The little girl was looking at me as her mother picks her up and mummers something to Anna. She shakes her head and Sarah smiles before talking.
