Chapter 1 Her

*Four years before*

"Stay fresh!!" The monitor echoed. Callie and Marie just said our courses for the next few hours. I smiled. Finally! I'm just a few points away from becoming level 10. And today's going to be the day where I reach the level.
Everyone started to scramble to the entrance of the lobby but I decided to stay back for a few minutes. After the crowd went away, I was left with a few other people planning or talking to their friends.I've never seen the Booyah Base this quiet before... It's actually pretty ominous.
I finally decided to join in on the battles until WAIT! After I started to walk to the lobby, I realized that I finally have a chance to buy the weapon I wanted! It was ALWAYS crowded by the stores but today it wasn't? Oh well. Doesn't matter.
I walked over to the weapon store.
About to enter the door, I pause in front of the door and turn my head to the sky. *Sigh* Today is a great day already. How can it get any better?
Then it hit me... Literally.
A girl came rushing out of the store and slammed right into me. After impact, we both fell to the ground. I looked at the girl and it looked like I took the less of the impact.
The girl inkling with blue tentacles, orange eyes and a black headband was on the floor in front of me. Blue ink trickled down from her nose. "Sorry! Are you ok?!"
I got up from the ground. "Yeah. I'm fine."
"Good!" She smiled and jumped up. I thought she was in pain. "Anyway, sorry again! Gotta go!"
"But your nose! It's bleeding!"
"Oh right. That doesn't matter! Turf wars calling my name! My charger wants wins!" Her orange eyes twinkled
"Wait!" I called. No use. She was already gone. I sighed. This isn't going to be the last time I saw her. Plus, I'm feeling something. She was cute... I guess. So I like her? I don't know. Anyway, time to buy my new weapon.
