Chapter 6 An Enemy Appears

We successfully made it out of the kettle with another zapfish. HA! This is quite easy!! Captain was waiting for us outside and a happy look appeared on his face. "You got another?! That is fantastic! There is one more you need to grab and it's over there!!"
   He points to a teapot and I turn back to him. "We tried opening it but it wouldn't budge."
   He waved a finger in front of me. "No no no. Now it must open since you have the power of the zapfish in this area!" He pushed us away. "Go check!!"
   Cris slowly walked up to the teapot and as soon as she took a step, it magically opened. Steam erupted out of the spout and left Cris in awe. "That. WAS AWESOME!!! WHAT KIND OF SORCERY WAS THAT!!!"
   "I don't know but I don't care! Let's go!"

   We rose from the spawn point to find an empty area except for a platform with a cube on it. "This was the challenge? It's just a cube!!" Orange snickered.
   "Wait, Orange look!" I pointed to a zapfish hovering above the cube. "Let's grab it!!" I ran towards the cube but screeched to a halt when a tentacle reached out and snagged the zapfish. Electricity bursted from it as eyes appeared on the front and legs grew from the bottom. I stepped back in dismay. What is this?!
   "Agents! That's the mighty Octostomp! It's going to try to crush you so move around and try to climb up its sides!" Captain called from our headphones.
   "Got it Captain, we'll not disappoint!" Orange responded and we took of.

   "He's- he's almost finished captain." I said as I inhaled. THIS IS TIRING. After we jumped off, he broke more tiles off it's sides making it harder to get the tentacle. Once again he took off towards us and we swam away. Surprisingly, he didn't flop, but I didn't know that.
   "Where'd he go?" Cris said then gasped. He was right on top of us. She got behind me and pushed me out of the way. As soon as she did that, I fell down and faced the cube to see her smile then the cube landing on top of her. Anger rushed through me as I climbed up the cube and splatted the tentacle. I jumped of it to watching it explode and to return with a zapfish successfully.

  We both emerged victorious and watched the next part of Octo valley open up. We walked over to the ink rail and I stopped Cris before she hopped in. "Hey. Why'd you do that? Push me out of the way I mean."
   "Oh. Well... It was just thank you for the necklace. I guess." She said and we swam through the inkrail.

   "Agents!" Mira screamed. "These pests are stealing back the zapfish!! We are sending some of you to stop them. Ok?!"
   "Yes ma'am!!"
   Mira and her bodyguards picked out a select few to fight them. I thought I was in the clear until Mira came up to me. "You are going. Don't disappoint me."
