"Yeah ok I'll help." He agreed quickly, I didn't know if Emma had good persuasion skills or she just hypnotized him. "Can you guys please explain to me who or what reapers are?" I asked, I had been confused ever since I saw the skull headed guy. "There's no time." Emma said. "No there is time, the arrow was green, right?" Mason asked. "Yeah I think." I responded. "The arrow was Python Venom. It'll kill her if she isn't given the antidote. But that'll happen in about 3 days. We have the antidote." He explained. "Alright then answer my question." I told him. "Reapers are a secret faction here. You won't ever see them on a normal occasion." He said. "So I guess this is not normal?" I asked. "Yeah its not. They steal people's powers and skills by killing them." He kept explaining. "Oh..." I muttered. I can't say anything because I borrow conduits' powers just by being around them. "Hey I have one more question." I told him. "Who are they made up of?" I asked, a bit hesitantly. "Ummm...all of the adults." He answered, awaiting an angry response from me, although he wouldn't see it. "Oh...that makes sense." I guessed. "How?" Emma asked. "I have only seen teenagers fighting." I said. "But that brings me to another question." I kept talking. "Where are the little kids?" I was curious. "They're in stationed in the fallout shelters for caring." Emma said with a smile, thinking about the kids. "This is a waste of time." Mason motioned us to hurry. "Alright so how do we find the reapers?" I asked. "Mary can find them." Emma told me. "How?" "Her conduit power is spotting life forms. Humans are blue, conduits are red, and people who have multiple powers, or the reapers, are black." She said. We went to visit Mary, she was this short but tough looking girl, as if her innocence and dignity had been taken away long ago. "We need you to find the nearest reaper hideout, Alexis has been kidnapped." Emma asked her. "Fine." Mary answered. Looked like she wasn't that much of a friend of the conduits. But she cared about Alexis. She used a map that seemed special. She stared at it in disbelief. "This black glow..." She started saying. Then she looked up, pointed to me and said "he's a reaper..." Mason whipped out a golden .50 caliber pistol and aimed it right at my temple. Emma aimed an open hand at my face as if she was about to crush me. "No! No! I'm not a reaper! I can explain!" I panicked. "Talk." Mason commanded. "Well I can't really explain...all I know is that I can absorb a conduit's powers if I get close enough." I held up my left hand with fire and right hand with lightning. They looked at me distrustfully. "How do we know you didn't kill to get those?" Mary asked. "This is Alexis' power." I motioned towards my right hand. "Fine, we'll trust you for now. Let's go get Alexis." Mason said. "They're at an abandoned prison." Mary said. "Lets go!"
