A/N: Heyo! So, I thought of something that I'm going to do. In the leadup to Christmas, I'll try to write a Christmassy oneshot each day. I know I can't even keep up with writing one a week, but I feel like I can do this. This is quite short, by the way. Anyway, enough from me, onto the first oneshot!

EDIT A MONTH LATER: Yeah, I failed. There's five of these. Enjoy XP

Pyro ran through spawn, throwing streamers and lights everywhere.

"What the heck are you doing?" Arkas asked him, after Pyro darted past, throwing a glittery star in his face.

"It's December! We've gotta make this place look like Christmas!"

"But... It's nowhere near Christmas," Arkas told the young Irish boy.

"It really is. Tell me that when it's a week 'til the day and you haven't got anything for anyone,"

Arkas looked at spawn, which was half decorated with string lights, cheesy decorations on windows and wreaths on doors. A large tree stood in the centre of spawn, undecorated.

"See how dull this tree looks without anything on it?" Pyro pouted. "We're decorating it all together, it's big enough so we won't all get in the way of each other!"

Pyro was excited, practically bobbing up and down telling Arkas about all they planned to do.

"Sounds kinda fun," Arkas admitted.

"It will be!" Pyro exclaimed. "Hey! Will you help me put the rest of the decorations up?"

"You're doing all of this yourself?" The Dutch man asked.

"Not if you help me," Pyro said, taking hold of Arkas' arm. "Come on!"

Soon the two were joking and laughing, tossing each other long strings of lights and placing assorted decorations all over the place. They lost track of time and, before they knew it, the sun had set, leaving them without light to put up anything else.

"You ready for the moment of truth?" Pyro asked, grinning.

"You know it," Arkas smiled back.

Pyro ran over to the side of a building, and flipped a switch, grabbing something from a spare box as he did so. Immediately, spawn lit up in soft, glittering silver light, and the two stepped back, admiring how surreal it felt.

"W - wow..." Arkas said.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

The two stood for a while longer, entranced by the twinkling of lights from all directions.

Pyro glanced at Arkas, remembering the real reason why he wanted Arkas to do this with him.

"Hey, Arkas," Pyro said, snapping Arkas out of his daze.

"What's up?"

Pyro jumped and stuck a piece of mistletoe to the wall above them, surprising the taller of the two.

"Whoops," Pyro smirked.

"Pyro, what-" Arkas started, before Pyro reached up and kissed him, interrupting him.

The kiss lasted longer than Pyro had thought, Arkas melting into the kiss, savouring it as the two shared this moment, the soft light illuminating the pair for others to see.

"I think I just got my Christmas gift," Arkas said to Pyro as they broke the kiss, staring into each others' eyes.
