The morning of course had its usual routine except this time we had to share the bathroom amongst the three of us. Let's just say that it didn't go well. While I was in the shower, Trevor thought it would be funny to play a prank on me. He pretended that he had left something in the bathroom but instead stuck his hand into the shower to pour a cup of cold water on me. If I'd been wearing clothes, I would've jumped out and beat the living hell out of him. I didn't find it the least bit funny.

Liyanna and I ate breakfast together where she met everyone and soon after, we parted ways. Trevor walked alongside me to the barn and I refused to speak to him. I could hear him chuckling to himself. I finally had enough and stopped in front of him.

"Stop laughing! It wasn't funny, contrary to what you believe!"

He smirked. "Why? You don't like being woken up by the cold? I personally love cold showers."

"Ewww, I don't even want to know why you need cold showers."

"Cause every time I look at you..."

I cut him off. "Stop trying to get a reaction out of me! Do you make fun of your girlfriend as much as you make fun of me?" I wondered, starting to walk towards the barn once again.

"Girlfriend? Why in the hell would I have a girlfriend? They're stupid. All you do is buy them stuff; stupid stuff."

"Wow, and you're how old?"

"24," he beamed.

"And you don't believe in, nor have a girlfriend?"

"Nope!"

"You're a loser."

"Oh, really? Tell me, do you have a boyfriend?" he asked.

"No, but I seriously believe in them," I responded.

"Alright, enough with the relationship talk," Jackson walked up from behind us. "Help me saddle up the horses."

After doing that, we waited for the first ride to show up. There was barely anyone. Today is Sunday and people usually go home today. Peaking my head out of the barn, I could see that everybody was lined up for the snowmobiles. They were the most popular ride and I guess people wanted to get one more whirl on them before they left.

When patrons finally showed, Jackson brought us a completely different way with beautiful scenery. I was relaxed hearing the beautiful melody of horses' hooves clicking against the frozen ground.

But of course I was forced to ride in the back seeing as Moose wanted to take his time again. However, I did not rush him. I let him take his sweet time, savoring every moment of this. It reminded me so much of home out here.

Maybe forty five minutes later, I made my way back into the barn. The guests were already gone except for Jackson and Trevor who were staring at me with their arms crossed over their chests.

"It's about time you got back. I was beginning to think we lost you," Jackson said.

"Sorry, I just wanted to explore," I apologized. "I needed some time to myself."

"Oh, um, alrighty then." He cleared his throat awkwardly. "Anyways, it's cold out. Why don't we go warm up? So far I haven't gotten any news of another ride."

The three of us went into the ski lodge and watched as snowmobiles passed by the windows, going on the next ride. I looked up onto the ski hill as a couple of people came sliding down.

"Hey, are you alright?" Jackson questioned, sitting down next to me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just needed some time away from Trevor. He's driving me insane," I admitted.

He chuckled. "Don't let him get to you. That's what he lives for. You'll get used to him by the end of the season."

"I hope," I sighed.

There ended up being one more ride and then we were off for the night. Trevor and I went back to the cabin where Liyanna was getting ready for work. She worked the night shift tonight at the bar.

"Are you guys going to stop by tonight?" she asked.

"I will for sure sweetheart," Trevor gave her a wide grin, causing her to blush.

"You can count on me being there," I put in. "I need a couple of drinks after dealing with this asshole all day."

"I gotta say, I'm a pretty attractive asshole and assholes are gross," he commented.

"Don't make me slap you."

"Ooo, I'd love that baby."

"I swear to God..." I stalked towards him.

"Enough you two!" Liyanna scolded. "Stop fighting and get cleaned up. You both smell like horse's ass."

"Isn't it great?" Trevor asked.

I rolled my eyes and walked towards the bathroom. "I get the shower first!" I screamed, slamming the door closed.

Once I stepped into the shower, I realized something. I hadn't brought any of my clothes in and like the idiot I was, in my haste to get the shower first, I had locked Trevor out of his own side of the cabin. Why was I so stupid?

I went to the door and cracked it open after I put a towel around myself.

"Um, Trevor?" I said shakily.

"Yeah?"

"Can you, uh, close your eyes for a moment? I have to grab my clothes."

He laughed and then put his hands over his eyes. I quickly snuck in and grabbed his arm, shoving him into the bathroom and shutting the door.

"Thanks!" I called through the door.

As I dressed, I heard the shower cut on. Good, he took my hint. I changed and put on some makeup, drying my hair and letting it flow freely for once.

"Are you finished? Can I come in now?" he questioned from the other side of the door.

"Yeah, you're good," I responded.

He walked in and I took in his appearance. He was wearing a blue plaid button down that was hugging his obviously toned stomach. The tight fit jeans on his legs were paired with work boots. I had to admit, he looked hot.

"Are you done checking me out so we can go to dinner now?"

I blushed and nodded. We closed the door to our cabin behind us and went to dinner. Afterwards, we headed to the bar. Liyanna automatically came to us when we sat down.

"What can I get you guys?" she asked.

"I'll have a beer," Trevor said, handing over the cash and winking. "And keep the change."

I rolled my eyes for the millionth time today. "Can I have a Shirley temple?"

"Sure," she smiled and went to get us our drinks.

"You're going for the girly drinks?" Trevor teased.

"It's not girly! It has vodka in it!"

"Yeah and sprite and strawberry sauce. It's totally diluted."

"Whatever. It's not like I can't tolerate liquor," I said, sticking my tongue out at him.

"Whatever you say..."

Oh, it's so on.
