Gif of Briella and Trevor :)

*Briella's POV*
That night, I cried myself to sleep. I decided to not even go visit Liyanna at the bar.
I woke up with a massive headache from crying so much the previous night. When Liyanna saw me, she told me that she was sorry, which I accepted. It's not her fault. She had no idea what happened between Trevor and I, so I'm not going to hate her. Plus, she's too sweet.
I got dressed for work and ran down for breakfast. I ate in silence and luckily nobody bothered me. After I finished, I ran to the barn and got the horses saddled up before Jackson even got there. When he arrived, he was very surprised, but thanked me. I smiled and went into the ski lodge to stay warm.
I think the other workers sensed my mood because they didn't attempt to talk to me. Either that or Trevor told them what happened and they didn't want to talk to me. That could be it, seeing as they're close to him.
I shoved all thoughts of last night to the back of my head and sipped on my drink, flipping through the magazine in front of me. I'll try to enjoy today. Maybe I'll even go on a snowmobile ride again...

The day was going by unusually slow. I think it was because I was on edge the entire time. I could feel Trevor's gaze on me and it's making me tense. Why in the hell is he staring at me?
My head snapped up and I glared at him. He kept the tense gaze and I finally had to break it. I saw him smirk.
"What are you smirking at Trevor?" I snapped.
All of the employees went quiet and stared at us. At this point, I could care less. I have had enough of his shit.
"You, beautiful," he smiled.
"Call me by some stupid nickname and I'll make sure you're unable to have children, got it?" I warned.
"Got it sweet cheeks," he winked.
I stood up and stalked towards him. Right before I made it to him, Russ and Eric grabbed me by the arms. I thrashed against their hold, begging them to let me go. They weren't budging.
"If you don't let me go right now, I will make sure both of you won't be able to have kids either," I growled.
They looked at me with the 'are you serious?' look. When I heard Jackson's voice, I automatically shut my mouth.
"There are obviously some issues going on between you two. You're lucky there aren't any guests or any of the owners in here, otherwise you'd be screwed. Now, if you don't want me to tell the boss, I suggest you both take the rest of the day off and go to your cabin. If you don't solve this problem by tomorrow, I'll tell the boss everything that went on here today. Got it?" he asked.
We both nodded our heads. Eric and Russ let go of me and I picked up my stuff. Trevor followed me back to the cabin.
"Nice job in there. You could've gotten us both fired!" I exclaimed.
"I could've gotten us fired? Haha! That's a good one! You're the one who was lunging at me, baby!" he laughed hysterically.
"DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME BABY!" I seethed, huffing and puffing in anger.
"Why don't you like the nicknames?"
"You know why!" I shrieked.
He walked towards me and I stood my ground. He leaned his forehead against mine and kept the intense glare. I wasn't going to break it this time.
"Tell me why you got so attached, sweetheart," he spoke softly.
"Trevor, I swear to God..." I trailed off.
"You were drunk Briella. Tell me why you got so attached."
"Cause...cause I couldn't help but fall for you. I thought it meant something to you. It meant something to me. And when I saw you kissing Liyanna, it about killed me..."
I looked down at the ground, breaking the gaze. A tear slid down my cheek and dropped onto the carpet.
Next thing I knew, I was being pinned against the wall. My breathing got heavier as Trevor forced me to look at him.
"You know...that night was amazing. Mind blowing. Even with you being drunk," he said.
"Alright, stop, that's enough," I choked, tears threatening to come loose. "How can you talk about that night like this? You didn't care. You showed me you didn't care by kissing Liyanna."
"I didn't care at the time, but now that I see how you can affect me, I know it had to mean something. But that doesn't mean I'm willing to give you a relationship."
"If you're not willing to give me a relationship, then that's fine. It saves me from more drama later. I don't need to be with a player or cheater."
"I may be a player, but never once have I cheated on a girl. When I was with someone, they were the only person I was with. We weren't together which means I didn't cheat on you. Can't you get that through your pretty little head?"
"Oh, so now you think I'm pretty?" I snorted.
"You've always been pretty to me. From the moment I met you in that bathroom," he winked. "You're sexy, sassy and hot tempered, but sweet at the same time. It's the perfect package, but I'm not ready to deal with that right now. Like I told you before, I don't do the whole relationship thing. I'm sorry that I hurt you, but to me, it was just another one night thing. At least until today when I realized I have some other feelings towards you."
"So where does that leave us?" I wondered.
"Friends?" he hoped.
"Just friends?" I asked.
"For now. Just now. Give me some time and space and maybe I'll decided what I want for a change."
"Okay, we're friends. But if you so much as make one more mistake, I'll come back and beat your ass. Got it?"
"Can't wait."
I rolled my eyes and pushed him off of me. I was shocked when he grabbed my arms and pulled me in for a small kiss. When he pulled away, he laughed at my facial expression.
"A kiss for good luck," he covered up his antics. "Anyways, are you coming down to the bar for a couple of drinks?"
"Only a couple," I stated. "Don't even think about trying to get me drunk again."
"Wouldn't dream of it."
I cocked an eyebrow at him and he blushed as if knowing what I was thinking. I laughed.
"I believe I just made all mighty Trevor Collins blush!" I teased.
"Shut up," he mumbled.
"Come on cowboy, let's go get those drinks."
"They're on me!" he called behind me.
"Whatever you say!" I exclaimed.
