Alex drove as fast as the black mustang would go. "Alex," Caroline said "what are we going to do? I'm scared right now." When he heard that, Alex looked at her with the neutral expression that he always wore. "Everything will be okay" he finally said.

When they pulled up to their house, Taylor sitting on the porch waiting for them. "Hey I was waiting for you two to come back," Taylor said "so how did it go?" "Things went South pretty fast," Alex said "Naomi's brother saw us and things escalated quick." "Oh my God," said Taylor "Caroline are you okay?" "I'm fine" said Caroline who was still distraught over the whole situation. "Thank God for Ethan," Alex said "if it wasn't for him, we'd probably be dead right now. I called and told him stay near the church in case something happened. He should be meeting up with us in a minute. Let's wait for him inside."

As the three of them sat on the couch waiting for Ethan to come, Caroline began to panic about everything all over again. "What are you going to do" she asked with great fear "so many people saw the two men die and they all saw all of our faces! What are we going to do?!" "Caroline," Alex said as he looked at her "calm down. Like I said before. Everything will be okay." At that moment, Ethan finally entered. "Alex told me what happened," Taylor said to him "are you alright?" "Yeah I'm fine," Ethan said he looked at Alex "so what's the plan man?" "Everybody lay low here for now," Alex said "you, me, Caroline, and Taylor. The four of us. I have a feeling that Naomi's family will be hunting not only us, but anyone associated with us. It's the safest way for now. Any objections?" A large moment of size fell over the entire room and then Alex spoke again. "I guess not" he said.

A few minutes later, the silence that filled the room was broken by the sounds of police sirens. "Motherfucker," yelled Alex as he glanced outside the window to see multiple police cars outside his house "the cops are here! Ain't this a bitch!" At that moment, he looked at Caroline. "Caroline," he said "give me your gun." "Why" Caroline asked. When Caroline asked that, Alex walked up to her, kissed her lips, and took the gun from her hand "Everything will be okay," he said as he began to look at Ethan and Taylor "you two get her to back. I'll buy you some time."

Once he said that, Alex kicked open the front door and began firing at the police. Unfortunately, he was badly outnumbered and they all opened fire on him. As the multiple bullets penetrated his body, he fell to the ground. "Alex no" cried Caroline as tears ran down her face. Finally, the police took their attention off of Alex's dead body and aimed it at Caroline, Ethan, and Taylor. They open fire briefly before a truck came from out of nowhere and ran over most of the officers. "Now's our chance," said Ethan "we gotta get out through the back! Come on!" With that, the three of them ran out the back entrance of the house, leaving their fallen friend behind.
