Tyler Seguin sits at his desk, brushing and messing with his short teenager-like floppy brown hair, trying to get each curl right. He sets his crown on his head. He winks to his reflection and plays up his image, flashing himself some finger guns.

"God, I'm such a stud!"

Suddenly he gets lost in his reflection in the mirror (and how handsome he thinks he is) and he gradually sits back down as his dresser. He touches the crown on his head and then reaches out to touch the mirror. "Oh, Jonathan," he sighs, "I've been so blind. We had something, you and I...I mean I like easy with power and royalty, but this...this is all wrong...I'm not in love with Taylor."

He slowly lets his hand slide down the glass of the mirror.

"I remember when we first met..." He spins around in the chair and looks longingly at the door to his bed chamber. His vision dissolves to a different scene, which is not in his room or in the castle. He is thinking about the day.

About One Year Ago...

Tyler Seguin is once again dressed in his peasant clothes: a simple white shirt, black pants and a pair of boots. Around the top of his messy, yet somehow still breathtakingly gorgeous floppy brown hair, he has a flower crown. His brown eyes flash with trepidation. He is tied to the trunk of a tree with ropes and struggling to get free.

"SOMEONE HELP!!"

A large, angry-looking red dragon is guarding him. It roars and shoots fire out of it's snout. Tyler's struggle increases.

"HELP ME!!"

Suddenly a brave man atop a black horse rides up and whips out a sword, exclaiming. "I'll save you, sir!" He flashes the male damsel a smile that is full of class and sparkly whiteness. He is the epitome of a hero.

"THE DRAGON!!" Tyler screams, turning his head to the side, as the beast lunges and directs a steady stream of blazing hot fire at the noble knight. Part of the blaze sears one of his hair strands and he takes notice. "Stop dragon! I spend hours fixing my hair and now you and that wicked wizard have destroyed! I swear--!"

The dragon roars, interrupting him. He immediately quiets with a yelping scream. The knight swings his sword and battles the furious dragon though. He manages to fend it off and it flies away from them. He twirls the sword in his hands and darts over. He slashes the ropes holding Tyler to the tree.

Tyler throws his arms around his hero and squeals, "My hero!"

"What is your name fair--and beautifully handsome damsel?"

"Tyler. Tyler Seguin. Thanks for saving me!"

"It's nothing. I couldn't help but be taken back by your handsomeness. I am Jonathan Toews."

"Well, thank you Jonathan. You're pretty handsome yourself."

Jonathan winks at him. "So what's a pretty boy like yourself doing in the clutches of a dragon and tied to a tree?"

"Oh, well, uh..." Tyler nervously touches his frayed hair. "This wizard guy named Zenon Konopka kidnapped me and dragged me here. I tried to fight him off, but he overpowered me and tied me up to the tree! He sent a dragon to teach me some kind of lesson. But he's a scary man!"

"Oh, well, you're safe now. I promise I won't let anything happen to you!" Jonathan smiles at him. He grabs Tyler's hand and leads him toward his black horse, which is waiting by another tree for them.

Before they reach the horse though, Tyler is yanked from Jonathan's hand. The knight spins around and raises his sword up. Tyler is in the hold of a tall scary goon man with a beard and mustache...sort of a cliche hockey tough guy. The man has a tight hold on Tyler's arm at his wrist and another hand clamped over his mouth. Tyler's free hand is clutching at the man's arm. The poor young damsel's amber eyes are wide with horror.

"Hey!! Get off of him!" Jonathan snarls, flicking his sword about, before drawing it back threateningly. "Let him go, or I'll make you!"

Tyler is dragged back to the tree, as the man laughs. "Tyler doesn't deserve to be saved. He's a flirtatious immature bastard!"

Jonathan is cautious, as he steps forward. He keeps the sword pointed at the goon, who finally removes his hand from Tyler's mouth and grabs his other wrist. He wrenches them behind him and ties them securely once more.

"JONATHAN!" Tyler screams. "Please! Don't let Zenon kill me!"

The knight darts forward and lashes out at Zenon, who uses magic, sending tiny fireballs toward Jonathan. They explode and send sparks flying at him. The evil man somehow still manages to tie Tyler Seguin back up to the tree. The brunette captive kicks out at him, but his ankles are bound together and then bound to the tree.

Jonathan fights through the fireballs and sparks and swings the sword at the wizard. But the goon dodges his blow and manages to add one last piece to his captive: a gag. Tyler's pitiful screams become muffled by a cloth.

The brave knight becomes enraged and he keeps his pursuit of the wizard, Zenon up. He dodges the continuous stream of fireballs and magic and sparks and swings his sword around, finally making contact with the wicked villain. He stabs him, pushing the sword in deeper and it causes the wizard to shriek and vanish in smoke and dust.

Jonathan runs to Tyler and frees him again. Tyler hugs him and then he is quickly helped up onto the horse. The knight jumps up with him, smiling. Tyler wraps his arms tightly around his hero, who flicks the reins. They launch off into the setting sunset. Tyler leans against Jonathan's broad shoulders.

In his chambers, Tyler spins back to the mirror, as the memory faded from his vision. He touches his crown again.

"But the past is the past. I turned him down for fame and fortune. Why would he want me?" Tyler speaks to his reflection.

He stands up and storms off, throwing open the doors to his bedroom and steps into the hallway. "No, I must try to return to him. I don't love Taylor, I love Jonathan!" He storms down the hallway, walking at a brisk pace.
