Chapter 22 - What now?
"May I introduce you, this is Jonghyun's older sister, Sodam"
For some seconds, I looked at her dumbstruck. "Ah, yes. Hello, it's nice to meet you." I said after I stood up and made a ninety-degree bow. "Wow, so pretty," she said and hugged me. First, I was taken aback but then I hugged her too.
She stood next to me and took my hands while looking into my eyes intensely. "So you are going out with my little brother?" she asked and I nodded. "Are you able to handle him?" she asked. "Well, I don't know," I said and immediately regretted it.
"I mean yes," I said and looked uneasy. She laughed and looked at me with amusement. Wait, no. I can't make myself look week. "Don't think of anything funny just because she is too nice" Jonghyun suddenly interrupted us. He removed her hand from mine and stood in front of me.
"Who knew that one day my own brother would be against me one day?" Sodom said and sighed sarcastically. Both looked at each other in the eyes, having some kind of staring contest and after some seconds, they broke into laughter. "It's been a long time," Jonghyun said and both smiled. "Come join us for lunch," Onew's mother said and we all sat down again.
After we finished our food, Jonghyun, Sodam and I bid our farewell and walked outside. "Can I have a talk with Soo Min?" she asked Jonghyun and he nodded. He walked to his car while we sat down at a park, which was nearby.
"Sorry for making you nervous back there, I didn't mean to," she said apologetically. "Don't sweat about it" I assured and smiled. "Wow, you really are nice," she said before continuing. "I just want to confirm one thing," she said.
"Look at me in the eyes" she demanded and I did so. "Promise me" she started "that you won't hurt him" The wind which brushed past my skin made me shiver and the serious expression which I was getting from Sodam was giving me chills. "I promise. I won't leave his side either" I said confidently and she smiled at me.
"Well, that was all I wanted to know," she said and stretched herself after getting up. "By the way, call me Unni from now on," she said and I nodded. "Let's go now, "she said and we walked to the car. "Thanks for dropping me off" I thanked after we had arrived at my house. "No problem, see you tomorrow," Jonghyun said. "Tomorrow is no school," Sodam Unni remarked.
"We are going on a date tomorrow" Jonghyun and I closed the car door, leaving the siblings having their own convocation.
I put my hand on my stomach, I had eaten too much and my stomach was feeling like exploding now, so I decided to have a walk while listening to music. While walking, I noticed that many people were looking at me weirdly. Oh right, I had forgotten that I was known now.
I could hear some people muttering some curse words under their breaths, but I decided to ignore them and walked past them. Maybe taking a walk was a bad idea after all.
"Don't touch me!" a girl screamed. I looked around and saw a crowd of people was surrounding two girls and two men, the girls wearing their school uniform and the men looking like they were in their mid-forties. I noticed that the men were trying to molest the girls and the crowd was just watching and doing nothing.
"Don't try to do something" the other girl screamed and the boys just smirked. "Grab the black haired one while I get the brown-haired one" No, no, no, I can't just watch and do nothing. Why is the public just watching? I took out my phone and opened an app which was useful for once. Who knew that this app actually might help me for once.
Suddenly, a police siren started to ring and both of the boys looked at each other. "Sh*t, run," one of them said and both of them ran as fast as possible. I turned off the siren, which was coming from my phone and ran to them. "Are you okay?" I asked and stroked the hair of one of them. "We are fine, thank you very much," both of them said and I smiled.
"That was my duty as a human being," I said and gave both of them my phone number. "If you need me, call me anytime," I said and added "and if you see these two creeps again, call me and we will go to report them to the police," I said and made sure that both of them were fine again.
"My name is Eun Byul and she is Soo Min," Eun Byul said. "Oh, we share the same name," I said. Strangely, the crowd was still and watching us while whispering. "But Unni, you seem familiar," Soo Min said and I scratched my head. "Aren't you Jonghyun's girlfriend?"
"I need to go now, see you" I quickly said and walked away, which seemed more like running. In some minutes, I made it back home with my high-speed walking.
Forgetting about everything that had happened, I went to my room and started preparing myself. After many incidents, our first date had finally come. Well, you could pretty much say that I spend my evening preparing for every little thing I should be preparing for.
After writing another chapter for my book, I went to sleep. The next morning, somebody decided to disturb my sleep and slammed the door open. "So Min, wake up!" Hyorin said loudly and I moaned. "Leave me alone" I whispered and covered my face with the blanket.
"You are in the news," she said and I immediately woke up. "What happened now?" I asked and ruffled my hair.

I know, my chapters are longer usually, but I didn't have much time to write.
Guys, this story is ending after the 24th chapter and it will have a special chapter. Means the story is ending in three weeks.
