Chapter 16 - I am yours

Do you know this feeling when your eyes are sleeping yet you are subconsciously awake? You start to feel your surroundings, smell things and even start thinking. Right now, I am in this state.

I can feel warmth and coziness. Arms were wrapped around my waist and my face was against somebody's chest. That's when it hit me. I don't share my room with anyone. I quickly opened my eyes and saw Jonghyun, centimeters apart from me. He was still sleeping, his blond hair falling on his face and his perfectly shaped jawline was on point.

My face reddened and I was wondering what he was doing up there instead of sleeping on his mattress. Because I didn't want awkwardness to come in between of us, I decided to calmly remove his hands and do as if this never happened.

I took his hand and tried to remove it, but it only leads him to pull me closer. I tried again but every time I did, I got pulled closer and closer. Sighing, I decided to wake him up and tell him to free me. "Jonghyun?" I whispered and started to shake his shoulder slightly.

He slowly opened his eyes and smiled at me. "Morning," he said and let go of me. He sat up and stretched his arm while I looked at him flustered. He was reacting as if waking up in somebody's arms were a normal thing.

He went to the bathroom, to take a shower and I went downstairs, to see if anyone was awake. As I entered the living room, I saw Hyorin, Hana, and Oliver looking at a photo album from my childhood. "She looks so cute," Hana said and smiled. "Looking at my childhood pictures?" I asked and Hyorin nodded. I was pouring a glass of water when Hyorin looked at me curiously.

"What happened yesterday?" she asked and I looked at her clueless. "Yesterday? What would happen yesterday?" I asked. "You and Jonghyun ... sharing a room" Hana said and Oliver looked at me strangely. "What would happen? Nothing happened" I said, obviously telling a lie. "Anyway, what do you want to do today," I said, trying to change the subject.

"Let's go to some sightseeing now and to the amusement park in the afternoon," Hyorin suggested. "Good idea, let's get ready," Oliver said and we all went to our rooms to get ready. I opened the door and saw Jonghyun sitting on my bed, chatting with someone on his phone.

"We decided to go for sightseeing and to the amusement park today" I informed and he nodded. "I'll be back in 15 minutes," he said and got up. "Where are you going?" I asked. "I need some clothes; I am going home. I'll be back before you guys leave" he said and went away.

He did come back by the time we were about to leave. He was also wearing a thick scarf and hat so that no one would recognize him. Together we made our way to the sightseeing destinations.

Well, actually it was boring for me and Jonghyun, but I think that Hana and Oliver were enjoying the view of historical places. I was never the historical type. Hyorin played the role of the camerawoman and took photos of every little thing. Time passed slowly and finally we came to the fun part of the day; the amusement park.

"I can already smell the amusement park," Hyorin said and I just giggled. Jonghyun, being the observant one today, just looked at us while we were having our conversation and Oliver was purchasing the tickets.

"Let's go," Oliver said and we entered the amusement park. "Let's go to that ride!" Hana said with excitement while pointing at a roller coaster which had too many loops "Soo Min is afraid of rides, which spin too much," Jonghyun said. "How do you know that?" I asked him bewildered. "You told me that a long time ago," he said. The fact that he knew me well made my stomach feel strange and I couldn't help but smile widely.
