Chapter 11 - The beginning of a weird day
"Soo Min" Hyorin said as she glared at me. "Yes?" I asked innocently. "You knew, right?" she asked furiously and I just put my eyes on the floor. "I knew you wouldn't come if I had told you," I said and sighed. Suddenly I felt a slap on my arm and I whined in pain. "Ouch, why are you slapping my arm?" I asked. "This is only the beginning. Wait until we get out of the car, I'll show you what I'm capable of," she said and I just pouted.
Then, we heard some laughter. Jaejoong and Jonghyun were laughing like there was no tomorrow. That's right, currently, Jaejoong, Jonghyun, Sulli, Hyorin and I were sitting in a car. After I got the invitation from Minho and having a thought about it, I accepted it. Because my parents wouldn't allow me to go alone, I asked Hyorin if she wanted to tag along and she agreed; of course, I didn't tell her about Jaejoong, since she wouldn't except the offer if she knew that he was coming with us.
It's 4:10 a.m. and I am sleepy as hell. Hyorin being mad at me about not telling her about Jaejoong, wasn't helping me at all. In this car where Jonghyun at my left, Hyorin at my right, me in the middle, Jaejoong at the driver's seat and Sulli sitting on the passenger seat, sleeping.
In the other car where the other members and Siwon, who were following us from behind. The reason why Jonghyun wasn't talking to me as still unclear, but it made me delighted to see him laughing in front of me.
Has his anger something to do with the incident which happened with Sawako? I looked at the sleeping Sulli and realized that I hadn't greeted her yet. Well, she just came and went to sleep straight away, so I hadn't really got a chance to talk to her.
After about 10 minutes, I fell asleep. It only felt minutes later, even though it was probably hours later, when I felt someone shaking my shoulder. I opened my eyes and realized that I had fallen asleep on Hyorins shoulder. "Wake up you idiot," she said I just laughed it off.
"Where are we?" I asked and looked around. "We are already here, the others are waiting outside, let's go," she said and I rubbed my sleepy eyes.
Well, that's how Incheon looks like. We were in front of an ice skating place and I could see everyone going at the entrance already. Since when do normal people go ice skating at 7.30 a.m.?
Anyway, I made my way at with Hyorin and now we were in the changing rooms, where we could put our bags in lockers and change into our skates.
"Good morning, my name is Lee Soo Min. Nice to meet you," I said and spread my hand for a handshake. "I'm Sulli, let's be friends" she said and took my hand. "Let's go!" I Siwon said and grabbed my hand. He also grabbed Sullis hand and ran to the rink.
I skated and felt the wind brush against my skin. The last time I went for ice skating was probably 3 years ago. It felt so nice and relaxing. I looked back and saw Jonghyun sitting on a bench, not on the rink, looking at his phone and not seeming interested in our activity.
I went out of the rink, towards the bench and sat next to him. "What are you doing?" I asked and he looked up at me. "Oh, it's you. I wasn't doing something important. ""Seriously, can you stop ignoring me?" I asked frustrated. "I wasn't ignoring you," he said and I just rolled my eyes.
"Yes you did"
"No, I did not"
"Yes you did"
"No, I did not"
"Just admit it and tell me the reason"
"I told you, I did not"
"Just tell me already"
"Why did you try to set me up with this girl? What's her name again ... Sawako, right" he said and I just looked at him, shocked.
"Ohhhhhh" I said and I didn't have any answer. "Why?" he asked again. "Well, we are friends, right? You seemed really happy with Sawako, so I thought I could help you out, maybe you like her" I lied.
"Right, we are friends," he said and got up. I looked at him confused; is he still mad or not? "Aren't you coming?" he asked after he turned around and faced me. He smiled at me and finally looked normal again. I smiled too and stood up.
We walked to the ice rink and I heard him say the words again. "We are friends"
For about 2 hours we were just fooling around like little children. "The last one has to be the snacks" Siwon said and we all formed a line. "Ready? Set! Go!" Sulli said and we all skated, giving our best. We were having a race, Sulli wasn't participating because she wasn't really the best skater.
"Saved!" I screamed after I managed to come to the finishing line, as the second last. "Damn it" Key said and we all laughed. "Let's go at the mini restaurant, I think they serve good food there" Onew said.
"You guys can go ahead, we will join later" Hyorin said. "We?" Minho asked. "This idiot and I," she said and pointed towards Jaejoong. "I gotta show him who the best is" she said and Jaejoong laughed.
"Seems like you can't get over your defeat. Fine, challenge accepted," he said in a competitive voice. We all looked at them, unamused, because their competitiveness has been going on for too long.
"The food was damn good" Jonghyun said and Taemin agreed. It's 10 a.m. and Jaejoong and Hyorin are still not back. "Now, part two of this trip starts." Siwon said and we all looked at him. "We will go diving" he said and my eyes popped up.
"Are you crazy? It's winter" Sulli said. "Let's vote" Siwon said and we all agreed.
"I want to go" Siwon said.
"I don't" Sulli said.
"I don't think it is a bad idea. I want to try" Onew said.
"Are you crazy? Never, I don't want to" Key said.
"I actually like diving, I am in" Minho said.
"Me too" Taemin said.
"What about you?" Jonghyun asked me. "I get sick easily, so I don't want to go, especially in winter" I said. "If she said no, then I will say no too," he said and I couldn't help but feel flattered.
It was a tie and we were waiting for Hyorin and Jaejoong to come back. After about 10 minutes, both came back, Jaejoong with a victorious smile and Hyorin with a pouting face; we all knew who had won.
"So Siwon wants to go diving, in winter, you guys voted and it's a tie right now?" Jaejoong said and Sulli nodded her head.
"I'm in" both of them said in unison. Both looked at each other in shock. "Did we just agree on the same thing?" Hyorin asked and Jaejoong nodded his head, unsure of his answer. "That's the first time ever" Jaejoong said. "Anyway, it's 4 to 6, we are going!" Siwon said in excitement.
And that's how my crazy day had actually just started. This was just the beginning.
1 hour later, I was walking past the corridor, I saw Jonghyun and a familiar girl talking and I heard something, which I didn't like.
"Jonghyun, will you go out with me?"

1) The moment I watched Taemins 'Press your number' ......... was the day I died. Just kidding, Bruno Mars and Taemin did a good job, I mean, the song is so damn addictive. I really like the song 'Soldier', you should check it out. I read the English translation of the song and it has such a good meaning. 'Already' is also a really amazing song; Jonghyun produced it.
2) Who watched 'Descendants of the Sun' with Onew and Song Joongki? It's awesome.
3) Guys, that was a weird ending right? Who do you think it was? Sulli? Hyorin? Somebody else? Anyway, stay tuned for the next chapter!
