Bonus Chapter – Chapter 25 - Reunion
"How come that my smaller sister is engaged before me?" Hyorin asked, looking annoyed, as she took a bite from her biscuit. "Don't worry, Jaejoong will propose soon, when he is ready" I said, trying to encourage her but I knew that it didn't help. "This guy is so slow"
"Stop talking about that. Let's have a drink" Sulli said and sat down. "Where are the guys? They always seem to be running late" I said and sighed. "I know that Sawako is busy and won't come, but will Minji and Siwon be able to make it tonight?" Sulli asked me and I shrugged my shoulders.
It's been 4 years. Currently, I am 22 and my first book will be available at the stores starting from tomorrow. I wanted to have a meeting with everyone together because everyone is always so busy and we barely meet each other, so I used a congratulation party for my first book as an excuse.
Right then, the door opened and revealed none other than Kyungsoo and Jae Wook, who have become great friends ever since they met at my graduation ceremony. "Hey guys," they said, greeted us and sat down. "Jaejoong will be a bit late. He told me that he has to finish his schedule first" Baekhyun said as he opened the door. "Baekhyun, I am glad that you could make it today," I said.
"So did Jaejoong finally propose to you?" Baekhyun asked as he sat down next to Hyorin. "No," Hyorin said. "Seriously? Maybe, I should have a talk with him" he said and laughed.
Hyorin is currently working as a fashion stylist for idol groups. She is under the same entertainment as Baekhyun and because they saw each other often, they somehow became good friends. After Hyorin and Jaejoong started dating, three years ago, Jaejoong also became good friends with Baekhyun through Hyorin.
Jae Wook is in his 4th year as a med student. I believe that he will become a great doctor in the future. As far as I know, Sawako and Jae Wook hang out a lot, since both of them are in the same university and majoring in the same subject, but he didn't tell her about his feelings yet.
Actually, something really great happened to Kyungsoo in the summer vacation after my graduation. While he was walking home, he was scouted by an agent; they wanted him to become an actor. After 4 years of training, he will be making his big-screen debut soon.
"Guys, I want to make a toast," Sulli said and stood up. "Just in 4 years, we changed so much, experienced many things but we have always been together and-"
"Wait!" somebody stopped Sulli in the middle of her sentence. We all turned around and saw our five shining boys. "Who said that you could start the party without us?" Jonghyun asked and I could see his eyes searching for me. After he finally found me, he smiled at me and I smiled back. "Save that for later," Minho said to Jonghyun and sat down. Jonghyun rolled his eyes and the others sat down too.
"Soo Min, what do you think: What changed the most in Jonghyun during these 4 years?" Jae Wook asked. "His hairstyle," I said and everybody laughed. Well, it was true. In these 4 years, I saw at least 5 different hairstyles and hair colors. Currently, his hair color was the same color as of a cherry blossom.
"You guys finally arrived," Hyorin said and we saw the last three people entering all together. Siwon, Minji, and Jaejoong all entered the coffee shop while they were chatting and laughing. "Guys, I missed you so much," Minji said and hugged me. "Congratulations. I hope that your book will sell well" she whispered in my ear and I thanked her.
"So how is it going at work?" Taemin asked her. "Really good. I love my job as a chocolatier" Minji replied while grinning. "I often get food from her for free" Siwon joked and Minji elbowed him. "This is for Soo Min," Minji said and placed a box of chocolate in front of me. "Thank you very much," I said and took the box. "I also want chocolate" Onew pouted. "Of course. I also brought some for you guys" Minji said and placed another box on the table, from which everybody took some chocolate.
"Guys, I want to make an announcement" Onew suddenly said. "You are probably wondering why my wife isn't here with me today," he said and everybody nodded.
Onew started dating a girl he met on a party one and a half years ago. Six months later, he told us that he would be marrying her. First, everybody told him that he should date her for a longer time and then marry her, but Onew insisted and married her. It's been one year after their marriage, and they are still happy together.
"Well, my wife wasn't feeling well" Onew started. "Is she sick? Should we visit her?" Sulli asked. "Thanks for the concern. Anyway, I took her to the doctor and the doctor told me..." "Told you what?" Hyorin asked. "That I am becoming father"
For a minute, everybody was in an uproar. We all congratulated him and I think that all of us became too loud. "Let's buy something for the baby later" Jonghyun whispered in my ear and I nodded.
Two hours later, after hearing about how my friends have been doing, I decided to go back home. "Thanks for coming, we should all meet again. I know that we guys chat a lot but a meeting is different. It feels nice seeing everybody" I said. "Don't worry, Minji has birthday in two weeks, let's meet then again" Key assured.
"Well, we have to go now. We are going to film a CF today" Minho said and all five said goodbye. "Don't forget about our date on Sunday" Jonghyun said. "How can I?" I asked and Key dragged Jonghyun away. "I'll drop you off at your house," Siwon said to Minji and both of them walked away too. After that, Sulli, Jae Wook, and Baekhyun went back to their homes too.
"Sorry, I'll borrow Hyorin for a while" Jaejoong suddenly said, grabbed Hyorin's hand and disappeared. "Okay then, let's go back," Kyungsoo said and we drove back home.
Five hours later, Hyorin was still not back. I was looking out of the window and listening to music when I saw Jaejoong's car, which parked at our driveway. Both of them walked out but the air between seemed so different. Jaejoong was looking like he had passed the hardest exam ever and Hyorin was looking like she was over the moon.
Then, the door opened and Hyorin came in. I walked downstairs and saw Kyungsoo and Hyorin talking. "What happened?" I asked curiously. Hyorin looked at me and showed me a bright smile.
"I am getting married to Jaejoong"
