Four days laters~

Another day of school done and I have to say, this was actually one of the best weeks I've had since moving to Westwood so far. You know why? Well cause there's no Vanoss Crew anywhere! It would've been better if everyone were here. Kenny is still recovering and Kiwi's doing everything she can to help her. And because of that, we haven't been seeing the two of them as of late. But hey, at least everyone else is doing fine I suppose.

Fox has occasionally excused herself to look out for any sign of Vanoss Crew on everyone's behalf, self-proclaiming herself as a lookout in a way. The good thing was that she hasn't been her rude snarky self—well at least towards us.

Jumi has shockingly been happier than ever, considering everything's that been happening. No one has asked why, accept for me of course. I'm pretty sure she's smitten with someone since every time she looks down at her phone, she has a smile on her face. I have one person in mind as to who could possibly be the person...

Dom is still being her mysterious self. I can tell that's she's still hiding stuff from us, which I don't mind at all. We all have something to hide, right?

Owl has slowly bringing back her mischief, pranking a few unlucky people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. The group found it funny, and we found it funnier since she got into trouble half the time.

Brooke is still shaken by what happened back at her place. I still haven't said thank you to her. Well I mean I have said thank you, but that was just for letting me stay at her place for the night. I still can't get over how she told me to run when she was in trouble.

Tiger has also been happier than usual. She and Fox have been getting along the most ever since she brought up parkour and skateboarding. Her humour still amuses me and has been for the rest of us.

Unfortunately for Zell, she hasn't been at her happiest from what I could tell. Her contagious smile and kindness has been taken effect on the rest of the group, but I could that she was just going to breakdown any second.

And me, well, I've been on edge the most out of everyone. I told everyone earlier this week about the house situation and the charity ball. All of them jumped to conclusion and suspected that it was Vanoss Crew. I didn't say anything or corrected them, and none of them didn't realise it couldn't have been them who did it.

Everyone also help with cleaning my house, which I was very grateful for. They helped speed up the process and now my house is back in one piece. But I just wish I could say the same thing for me. It's not like I'm broken in a metaphoric way, it's more like I'm missing a vital piece to complete myself.

"Nyssa, are you even listening?" Tiger asked.

I blinked quickly a few times, noticing that all of them were currently staring at me, a few of them having worried expressions." Sorry" I said." I'm gonna go get some fresh air." I mumbled before leaving. We were all hanging out at a café nearby Downtown Los Santos. I don't know why we drove all the way here but it was nice to get out of the local area.

My car was parked around the corner and I just decided to stay there, not really wanting to go far from where my friends are. Leaning on my car, I just stared at everyone who passed me, unaware that someone else who was doing the same exact thing.

Only just a minute passed by and I was already bored. Okay, that's enough fresh air. I thought, standing back up.

On my way back to my friends, I looked into one of the alleyways to see someone getting beat up. Curiosity was getting to me easily and I moved in closer to the alley to listen in onto it. From where I was, I could only make out two silhouettes looking down at a bloodied man.

"P-Please, I'll have the money by tomorrow." The man pleaded after he spat blood out of his mouth.

The man on the left laughed," I know you'll have the money by tomorrow. But for now, you'll have to take the beating." He said before punching the man square in the jaw painfully. I realised that the voice sounded familiar, and squinting my eyes, I realised that light blue jumper looked familiar too.

Instinct came into play as I got up, ready to save the man. But a hand grabbed me from behind and pulled me out of the alleyway.

"Hey!" I shouted, grabbing the people in the alleyway's attention. Luckily whoever pulled me outta there was quick enough for them not to see us. Of course, everyone passing us didn't do anything. We're in Los Santos after all.

The person let go of me and I turned around to see who it was. I was actually surprised to see that it was a woman. The grip was strong enough to be a man's, but then again, the hand was small enough to be a woman's. The woman had pale skin, platinum hair and wore square glasses over her cobalt eyes. Just by looking at her, I could tell that she was a by-the-book no-nonsense type of person.

"Who the hell are you and why did you pull me out of the alleyway?" I asked.

The woman crossed her arms," It doesn't matter for now as to who I am, I was just trying to get you out of the situation back there before even entering it." She said." Your face doesn't need to be deformed before the ball."

My eyes widened for a second before they narrowed." How the hell do you know—"

The woman stepped closer to me." Look, I don't have time to explain everything." She said low enough for only me to hear it before looking around us quickly." Just make sure to stay away from potential trouble on the night." She spoke before leaving me, already out of my view in a mere two seconds.

I would've went after her but my mind was too busy, fighting over on whether if or not I should trust her...
