Third Person POV

It was just another normal day. Y/N Granger sat on Potions, working hard. I guess intelligence runs in the Granger family. Just as she finished her potion (well before her other peers) there was a knock on the door. Before Professor Snape could do anything, Professor Flitwick walked into the classroom.

"I need a moment with Miss Granger, please." Snape just groaned and rolled his eyes. "Very well."

Y/N scurried out of the room and followed the professor. "You know Cedric Diggory, correct?" She nodded her head. I mean, who didn't know Cedric Diggory. "Well, you see, he isn't doing very well in Charms. He's failing. You are one of my best students, and I really need you to tutor him."

Y/N smiled and nodded. "Sure thing, Professor."

But what Y/N didn't know was that Cedric Diggory requested that she tutor him.

"Hey, Ced." She stated, sitting down across from him at the library. They decided to meet her for their first study session.

"H-Hello Y/F/N." He stuttered. He didn't know he was so nervous until she sat down. Y/N just shook her head and giggled. "Call me Y/N." Cedric smiled lightly. "Ok, hello Y/N."

Cedric tried really hard to pay attention to what Y/N was saying, but he couldn't. He just stared at her. He admired her Y/C/H hair, her sparkling Y/C/E eyes, and how a small smile curled up on her lips when she explained certain spells.

"Cedric?" He snapped out of his daze to see Y/N packing her bag. "Do you wanna meet here tomorrow?" Cedric nodded his head instantly, causing her to giggle.

For the next few weeks, the two students studied together. Y/N really got to know Cedric better, and they became close friends. Before she knew it, she was crushing hard for the Hufflepuff boy. And as this was happening, Cedric was gaining the courage to ask her out.

"Hi Y/N." He said, walking up to her. Since he's gotten to know her better, he's felt more comfortable around her.

"H-Hey Cedric." Y/N stuttered. She didn't have as much confidence that Cedric did.

"You look beautiful today." He said with a smirk, leaning backwards in his chair. Y/N blushed furiously, and tried to let her Y/C/H hair cover her hot cheeks. "Th-thank you Ced." She mumbled, her heart beating as fast as Cedric's.

"So," he began, sweating slightly. What if she rejects me? He quickly shook his head and sat up straighter. Of course she'll say yes, why wouldn't she?

"I was... I mean, I-"

"I like you a lot!" Y/N and Cedric blurted out at the same time. They both stared at each other for a moment, speechless. Then, they broke into a smile.

"So Y/N, I was wondering if you'd want to-"

"Yes, I'd like that."

I ate so much today and I feel like a fat ass.
