I'm sorry but I have to go on a mini rant: PEOPLE! Can you not read? Or do you not care what I have to say? When I say, comment on the requests chapter ONLY, why would you ignore that and message me or comment on a totally random chapter? I am not singling out one person in particular, a lot of people have done this. I am sorry but I am sick and tired of it, and if someone does it again, I am going to delete their request. I know that sounds harsh but I am just so tired of people not listening to such a simple request. Im sorry.
Third Person POV
Y/N sighed and ran a hand through her hair. The professors must not give a damn about the Tri Wizard Tournament. She thought, letting out a yawn. So far I've gotten more homework than ever! She lazily dipped her quill in ink and continued to write her dreadful potions essay.
As she went to re-dip her quill, Y/N heard clamor from outside the portrait. There were muffled voices, than a raised voice, "Ronald Weasley!" Y/N sighed as she recognized the voice to be Hermione's. She liked Hermione a lot, actually. She had nothing against her. Well... Ok, maybe one thing. And that was Ronald Weasley. The two were always clinging to each other as they followed Harry Potter everywhere he went. They had all these little inside jokes and Ron was always able to make Hermione laugh, it was infuriating.
If you haven't caught on, Y/N liked Ron. A lot. They've known each other since second year and have remained pretty close friends.
Not as close as Hermione. She thought bitterly.
The portrait swung open and in climbed George, Fred, Harry, Hermione and Ron. "Hullo, Y/N." Fred said with a small wave. George just yawned and nodded his head in her direction. "Still up doing homework, eh?"
"You shouldn't be talking, Weasley." Y/N said with a small smirk. "So far it's," she quickly glanced at the clock. "It's one in the morning and I'm guessing you and your twin did absolutely nothing today."
"Godrick, is it really that late?" Hermione asked. Y/N nodded and Hermione groaned. "I told you boys that we shouldn't be up passed curfew!" She scolded. She slowly trudged towards the girls dormitories. "You coming, Y/N?"
"In a bit." She sighed. "I'm almost done with my work, I just need to finish this stupid essay." Then, an idea came to mind and she spun around to face Hermione again, eyes wide and pleading. "Hermione, can I possi-"
"Sorry, I handed in the essay early."
Y/N groaned loudly and rested her head on the table.
"At least you're not Harry." Ron said, grabbing a seat across from her. "He has this and training for the Tournament." The corners of her mouth began to twitch and she quickly looked down. "Yeah, I guess so." No matter how long she's known Ron, or how close they are, Y/N will always get a little excited when her crush talks to her. Who wouldn't?
He took a peek at what Y/N was writing and his eyes widened. "That's due tomorrow?" He asked. Y/N nodded. "Er, yeah, he assigned it, like, a month ago."
"Bloody hell." Ron groaned, making Y/N giggle. "Don't laugh at my pain!" Ron scolded with a smile on his face. "Snape's gonna kill me."
Y/N sighed and put her quill down on the table. "He's going to kill both of us, then. I'm too tired to write anymore." As she stood up Ron cursed under his breath. "Damn it, Y/N, I was relying on you so I could copy the essay!" She threw her head back and laughed. "Be prepared to feel Snape's wrath, then." She began to walk up the stairs before pausing and turning around to face the red head. "Goodnight, Ron."
He smiled back and waved. "Night." Once he heard the door close, he let out a breath and let his excited smile slip through. He didn't mess up, wonderful!
