Lani POV (Media 1)

"We got the Movies, Colored TV's" Jamal sang as he and Hakeem rehearsed their performance for tonight. When Keem's verse started, he bumped into Jamal and Jamal pushed him a lil. The music stopped and Keem grabbed the Mic saying

"You steppin in my way man!"

"Gimme my damn mic!" Jamal said snatching it back "I'm just tryna make sure we ain't laggin like you." he continued

"Nah you tryna steal my spotlight."

"Well that ain't hard to do. It's called a performance, why don't you perform"

"Well I'm not doin it."

"Guy's chill" I said

"I'm not doin it" Keem said

"Yeah, don't do it fool" Jamal replied

"Shut up, both of y'all!" Cookie said "One night of your lil selfish lives. Now you're brother Andre is out there tryna hustle up big time investors trying to make your father's dream come true. And he worked his ass off for this moment right here, right now. Fought his way like a dog outta the projects for you two Ingrates! Now can you please come together for this one thing your father needs so he can bring this thing home for you! You hear me!?"

"Yeah" Jamal said but Keem didn't say anything so Cookie got in his face

"I said, Do you hear me?" he nodded then Lucious came from the door and stood next to me saying

"Hakeem! Listen to your mother, she's a very wise woman." It was suprising to see him here cause he was in the hospital for a couple days "Go on and take a minute" he said. Keem came to me and Mal walked the opposite way. Me and Keem walked in to the hall and to the elevator.

"Where we goin?" he asked

"Upstairs. Gotta talk to Becky real quick" the elevator was stuck, I saw Malcolm walking so I called him over

"The elevator's been stuck on 17 for a while, can you do anything?"

"I'll see what I can do." he used his key and the elevator started moving. When the door's opened, there stood the little girl from the other day.

"I lost my mommy" she said as she stepped out of the elevator and stood in front of me. "Um..." I looked a Keem then back to the little girl

"What's your name?" I asked

"Lola"

"Well Lola, I'm Kehlani and this is Hakeem. You wanna come upstairs with me?" She nodded so we went up to Becky's desk

"Can you watch her for a minute?"

"Yeah, no problem."

"Thanks, Lola this is Becky. I'll be right back." Me and keem ran back to the elevator and back to Cookie and Lucious to tell them what happened

"So she just up and left her child?" Cookie asked

"I guess so, Malcolm said they checked the whole building and couldn't find Olivia"

"Mal gon be a daddy? Who woulda though" Keem said before messing with Jamal's scarf

"Leave me alone with that shit."

"Jamal" Cookie called out

"I'm fine, I just need some time to think" he said before walking out

"He's fine, Where is she now?"

"This is all your fault Lucious" Cookie said before walking away

"How is this my fault!? Where is she now Lani?"
