Finnick's jaw dropped once he saw colour and life return to her pale face. Her eyes then sparkled the shade of blue they were before and Finnick leaped at her, making her fall back into the bed as he laid on top of her in an endless hug. They were speechless, and Finnick could do nothing but cry. He thought he had lost her. He then pulled out of their hug and he looked down at his pale beauty that laid beneath him, and pressed his warm lips upon hers, and they remained like that for moments upon end. He wasn't planning on leaving her again. He had just got her back, and he was determined to keep her close to him.
Finnick then sat down on the bed beside her, and she sat up, resting her head in his lap.
"I thought I would never hear your voice again" Finnick cries, as he wipes his tears that stained his face. She remained quiet however, trying to block out the screams that still invalided her mind.
They slept in that position that night, Finnick laying back in the bed and Annie's head resting on his chest. Finnick dreamt of Annie, and that amazing moment when he saw the colour wake her lifeless face, but Annie however, could never get the images out of her head, of Ross, of the blood and of the lifeless bodies, floating in the dam the day of the bloodbath. She closed her eyes, but when she expected to see darkness, she was Ross's headless body standing before her, and she woke up screaming.
Finnick woke in shock at Annie's terrified scream, he then tried pinning her down to the bed.
"Annie! Annie it's not real!" He panicked, but Annie didn't hear, she couldn't hear, because she wasn't all there. Her scream dragged on and on, and Finnick had resulted to sitting on top of her and holding her hands down, which where before, pulling at her hair and covering her ears.
"STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT!" She screamed, as tears began to roll down her cheeks.
"Annie! It's not real! Listen to me! Open your eyes! It's not real! Annie!" He cried, as he struggled to pin her down.
But just then, Rose and her father entered her room, woken up by her screams, and Rose stood back in fear at her eccentric sister. Annie's father however pushed Finnick aside and dragged Annie out of bed, forcing her to stand facing him.
Annie! Honey! Look at me!" He screamed, as he shook her shoulders. Annie's eyes then fluttered open, and her father pulled her into a hug. She began to cry on her fathers shoulders.
Rose, standing at the end of Annie's bed was crying in distress, so Finnick walked over to her and gave her a reassuring hug. Annie then collapsed in exhuasguan, and her father placed Annie back under the covers.
"We better leave her tonight" Annie's father said as he looked down in sorrow at his daughter. Rose immediately left the room but Finnick stood at the end of her bed, staring down at her in worry.
"She needs to sleep Finnick" Annie's father called, once he saw his worry. "You can see her tomorrow"
Finnick then left Annie's room and walked downstairs through their manner house and was about to leave to go back to his house next door, when Rose called his name from behind the banisters of the stairs.
"Finnick" Rose gently called, as she peered behind the banisters. Finnick turned around to her voice and walked over to the stairs, looking up at her.
"What's wrong?" He asks, as he hears the distress in her voice.
"Annie....she'll be okay won't she? I'm worried, and what do I do if she screams again?" She panics.
Finnick then climbs the stairs and sits beside her on the step. He puts his arm around her shoulder, comforting her cries.
