KAI.

She just ran out of the party after we talked, and I haven't seen her since. It was making me worry even more. She must have gone home. But the rain is pouring down, and you can barely see anything. I just hoped that she would be fine.

I was gonna go home, when I noticed my car was gone. Maybe she took it? God I hoped that she was fine.

I took my friends car instead. I was driving really slowly, not wanting to speed and make an accident.

I was about to make a turn, when I saw a bunch of lights, and people gathering around something.

I stopped the car, and got out, wanting to see what it was. I pushed my way to the front, seeing a car that was upside down, the whole left side, was crushed, and the roof was dented. The whole car was fucked. I looked at it closer, and realized, that it was MY car!

I started panicking. Astrid took the car, but where was she?

I started looking around frantically, and saw the ambulance truck, and ran over to them.

I was about to go closer, but was stopped by someone.

"Sir you need to stay back" I looked at the guy, trying really hard not to punch him right now.

"I have to see her, I need to. Please!" I yelled, and he looked at me confused.

"Do you know the patient in there?" He asked, and I nodded yelling yes, over the pouring rain.

"Well, I'm sorry sir you have to wait until they get her to the hospital. She has severe wounds, and needs to be treated immediately, you can go there" He says, and without another thought, I ran for my house.

I was going to have to call her friends, and I needed to get dressed into something dry.

As I ran, all that was on my mind was that I wanted to see her. Needed to see her...I just hoped that she would be ok...

JANE.

Me and Sarah were just chilling at my place. It was just the two of us, since Astrid was on a date. We were both happy for her, and we mostly fangirled over the couple. Jesse and her made a cute couple, but the couple I think would make her the happiest, was with Kai.

She doesn't notice it, but every time she is close to him, her mood lights up, she smiles more, and she laughs more. He just makes her happy. And if she was happy then we were happy.

Suddenly, my phone rang and I picked it up.

"Hello?" I asked. I have never seen this number before.

"Hey Jane, its Kai" I furrowed my brow. Why would he call me?

"What's wrong?" I ask wary.

"Its Astrid...she was in an accident...she got hit by a truck" I heard the lump in his throat. It made me want to cry even more.

I hung up, grabbed Sarah by her shirt, and dragged her our of the house. I got in the car, and she did the same.

She kept asking me what happened, but either I couldn't answer, or all I said, was 'She's going to be ok' and that seemed to make Sarah even more scared and confused.

Once we got there, we both ran into the waiting area, and we saw Kai and his mom there. I ran over to them, and he stood up.

I saw the look in his eyes, and I took a step back.

"No....she can't.....no, no!" I yelled pulling at my hair. I sank to my knees, and cried. I felt a hand on my shoulder, making me look up to Mrs. Walker.

They told me everything. After that I was just...numb.

All that I kept thinking about was that my best friend...might die...
