21) An overwhelming amount of dialogue is never attractive in a story. At least in my opinion anyway. I mean, yes some people in reality talk non-stop, but in a story it just gets boring and repetitive. Your character doesn't have to say everything in dialogue. You can say in normal description (not dialogue) that your character agreed or said yes etc. No description, with an excessive amount of dialogue is, more often than not, quite horrible to read. It gets so hectic and it's like everything is being thrown in our faces, and we don't even know where the characters are or what they're even doing. Try to keep a balance would you?
22) Players. Why are these bastards always portrayed as being the most attractive peopl out there? I HATE players. They sleep with numerous people, who knows if they even use protection, so lord know what kind of diseases they could have. They break people's hearts and hurt people immensely. What's so attractive about that? It's not attractive at all, it's horrible, and a complete turn off for me. A player is no better than a cheater.
23) It bothers me to no end when people can't be bothered to write the full correct word when they're writing a story. It's always "OMG, I rlly lyk this guyy you kno? He's soooo amazin' gurl." Like, seriously guys? Do you see J.K. Rowling, or Richelle Mead writing like that in their stories? I can tell you now, that no matter how amazing their stories are, if they had written like that, they wouldn't have sold nearly as many copies as they did. Professional writers do not write that like that, and if you call yourself a writer, whether it's published and being sold in stores, or on a writing website, you SHOULD NOT write like that either.
24) I understand that student/teacher relationships happen. Yes quite a few students develop crushes on their teachers (mainly the younger ones), but not everyone is going to start making out with their teacher and get into a relationship with them. IT'S ILLEGAL! Not only is it statutory rape, but it's considered an abuse of their power and breaking their oath as someone who is supposed to care for you and have your best interests at heart. I've never known a student/teacher relationship ending well, and in every story on here, they do. None of the teachers get arrested, none of the parents find out and give a damn. If you're going to write a student/teacher relationship at least attempt to make it realistic. And PLEASE remember that it IS illegal.
25) It is not necessary to constantly change the POV of the story if it is not significant to the story. A good example of a good POV change, is in the 'Morganville Vampires' books by Rachel Caine. She has a different POV change for almost every chapter in the last few of her books, however it is important for the story. The POV are of people who are in different places at the same time, dealing with the same issues in different ways. The books I read on here that have different POV changes are pointless. We end up reading the exact same thing, just being told by someone else. It's not necessary and is completely boring and repetitive.
