31) In real life, not every guy alive is incredibly attractive. I understand that good looks is part of what attracts people to read stories, but why can't the average Joes get awesome girlfriends too? Not every single guy has a six pack with huge biceps and gorgeous green/blue eyes and wears designer clothes. There are cute, adorable, good looking guys, who enjoy reading comics, or who are very academic. Have some variety!
32) Blonde hair and blue eyes is always how the popular people (especially the girl) are described. There is such thing as popular red heads, and popular people with black hair, or even purple hair! Step away from the stereotypes people.
33) Are Alex Pettyfer, Logan Lerman, Francisco Lachowski Ariana Grande, and Selena Gomez the only famous people in the world? They're the only people I ever see in the cast for a story. People only choose them because of how they look. You shouldn't base your characters on the cast you choose, you should base the cast you choose on how YOUR characters look. For once, use some variety and do some research. There are people who aren't as famous as them who are just as amazing and attractive.
34) The cycle of what's on the what's hot list is so vicious! The stories that are already popular, KEEP getting more popular because their story is kept at the top and people are too lazy, or don't see the point in scrolling through the other pages to find stories that are just as amazing, but are undiscovered. Those authors remain popular because once they upload a new story, they gain over 1,000 reads in the first hour because of how popular their first story is. Ugh! This makes me mad!
35) There are never any excuses for horrible writing. Saying "Oh I was so tired, I had so much homework to do today." or "I'm quote sick and busy, so this chapter probably sucks, but here it is anyway." You should have enough pride in yourself and your story to NOT write until you know you can write it better. If you're sick, wait until you're feeling well again and can write to your full ability. If you're tired, GO SLEEP and come back to writing when you AREN'T tired. I'm pretty sure the readers would prefer a GOOD update over a QUICK one. There are no excuses!!
