26) Now, I don't know what school is like in other countries, so I don't even really know know what they're like personally. I can only go by my experiences at school, and by what I've seen on TV and movies and read in books on wattpad. At my high school, we didn't have cliques. Not at all. Especially not in our final two years. Everyone hung out with each other at some point or another, and everyone spoke to each other.
Why in every high school story on wattpad is there a group with only the sporty people, thenthere's the cheerleaders, then the nerds, then the artist etc. and they don't ever mingle? I mean, my group of friends at school had 3 'nerds', two artists, 3 'rebels' (always getting detentions and skipping classes etc.), then there was me and my best friend, the muso, sporty ones. Why can't there ever be a mixture in stories? Have the cheerleader be best friends with the smartest girl in the year. Have the captain of the soccer/football/hockey team be best mates with a drama guy. Mix it up!!
27) Why does the stereotypical nerd have to be friend-less and bullied? There were nerds at my school that had a bigger group of friends than I did! Not all nerds wear glasses and are horribly dressed. Just because they're smart, doesn't make them ugly and unattractive. Wouldn't you rather be in a relationship with someone who is smart? they would challenge you sometimes, provide proper entertaining conversation etc.
The nerd in stories on wattpad always seems to be a girl. Where are all my boy nerds at?! Boys can be smart too guys!
On another note, why is it in nerd/bad boy/popular stories, it's always the nerd who falls in love with the popular person? Why can't the popular person fall in love with the nerd, and the nerd not care about THEIR existence?
28) Celebrities don't just fall in love with you when they see you in the front row at their concert. Chances are, the lights would be so bright that they wouldn't even see you! Yes, famous people date regular people all the time, but not because they went to their concert. No, they have mutual friends, or they go out like a normal person and see someone they find attractive and interesting and they get to know them better. They don't look at the front row and and pick some good looking person at random (Although, maybe Taylor Swift will have to end up doing that soon because she'll run out of guys. Sorry Swifty.)
29) !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone else find that incredibly annoying to see in a story????????? It's not necessary people!!!!! it's just gets very very annoying to read. You don't see published authors using ten billion exclamation points, so why should you?
30) Arranged marriages that aren't cultural, or some incredibly sad part of a person being sold really bug me. If it's a duchess, or Prince etc from years and years ago, then yes. If it's a very religious family, then yes, if your story is about someone being sold to a man for money, then yes. ARRANGED MARRIAGES AREN'T ARRANGED JUST BECAUSE THE PARENTS FEEL LIKE IT! And to be honest, I don't hear of them very much these days. It just doesn't really happen anymore, not where I'm from anyway.
