Dear Lucas,
I'm writing this email as the last thing I'm doing in this dorm room. Jessica left yesterday and I've had the place to myself to do my packing. The energy around here is so different with all the students leaving for the summer. I wish I could show you how much fun it is to ride the Razor scooter down the empty halls. It makes getting around campus so much quicker.
I found our book again. I think I might reread it while I'm at my dad's. It will make me feel like you are there reading it with me. I know the ending took you by surprise, but you have to admit it is a great story.
Please have a safe trip into California. I hate that you will be in my state when I'm gone. To think of how easy it would have been to drive down to San Diego and see you again. Enjoy the beautiful weather and try not to pick up any bad habits from the Marines at Pendleton.
I'll send you an email as soon as I land in Florida. Take care of yourself!
Love,
Bailey
P.S. How are we celebrating our one year anniversary?
****How should they celebrate?******
