Dear Mrs. Garver,
I miss you already. This was the first chance I've had to sit down and send an email. Some of the Marines that have been here a while bought prepaid cellphones. I'm going to look into that. Right now, I will be emailing you from a computer bank set up here on base.
My flight here went well and I'm all set up in my sleeping quarters. Pines is with me and so is Sanchez. I know a lot of the other guys in there, but you haven't met them. This week we're getting ready to go out into the city. I'm not sure when I'll have a chance to get back in here and use a computer.
How are you doing? How is school? Did your parents flip out about your marital status? I can't wait to hear all about it. Please send me that picture we took on our wedding day. I wanted to bring it with me, but I didn't want to waste anytime trying to get it printed.
I miss you so much. Thinking about you and dreaming about you.
Love your husband,
Lucas
P.S. I've been thinking of our story. Maybe we should make it erotica when I get back.
