Bachelorette Throw-down

(Kelly's Mother In The Picture)

Some people just don't get the hint. I mean I'm a teenager, 17 to be exact; I have better things to do then go to some stupid bachelorette party, for an Aunt who calls me a different name every time I see her and she can't hold her liquor worth crap and starts to tell you embarrassing stories about how she 'accidentally' got drunk and danced on top of the table singing Katy Perry's Firework at her cousins, 7 year olds, birthday party 5 years ago. I mean lady you apologized enough. The kid is not that traumatized anymore, but he still has nightmares about it. Poor kid.

My mom seems to not have gotten that hint at all because right now we are driving 40 minutes to the coast of somewhere in the middle of somewhere by somewhere else. Yeah I wasn't paying attention to my mom telling me where it is. I dozed off thinking how she believed that I actually wanted to go, she doesn't know a fake smile or fake enthusiasm when she sees or hears it.

"Oh honey isn't this going to be fun?" my mom asked.

"Are you kidding me? This is going to be epic, where probably going to drink, eat cheeses we never heard of and maybe even see a nice strip tease from a guy name 'Officer Fun Time'; Who wouldn't be excited?" I replied sarcastically and rolled my eyes as I looked outside the car window.

"Oh I know it's going to be super fun! But if this 'Officer Fun Time' comes out you should go somewhere else, you're too young for strippers." She said sternly.

Unbelievable this woman was immune to sarcasm.

"Oh No! Someone get me a doctor!" I yelled dramatically, flaring my hands up in the air; hence making my mom serve on the road.

One car swerve later.

"What's wrong with you, Kelly, are you trying to get me a heart attack!?" my mom said trying not to put her hand over her, probably now fast beating heart.

"Sorry mom, but you know I have my moments" I said sheepishly.

"You're sure having them a lot lately, should we go see that therapist again?" She said worriedly.

"Oh God No! I don't to go see Dr. Earl ever again that guy smelt like day old bread and Fruit Loops". I said shivering a little.

"But he helped you." She said putting both her hands on the wheel just in case of another outburst.

That guy helped nothing. I pretended that I was calming down because he started talking about how his wife left him for some guy name Fernando in México last year. Like dude you're my therapist, I'm not yours. I remember my last visit when he started showing me pictures of them in Santa Monica for their honeymoon. I just had to get the heck out of there.

"No mom it's okay I'll tone down my hyperactive tendencies for this time only" I said with a huff at the end.

"Thank you I wouldn't want this event to turn out like when you went with me to your cousins graduation party is it" my mom said questioningly.

"No I won't get arrested again" I said grabbing my wrists.

"You better not, I don't work my butt off just to pay off your bails." My mom said sadly.

"Don't worry mom everything's going to be okay." I said. Hopefully.

What is she worried about I'm not getting into any more trouble. Scratch that, I'm not getting into any more trouble today. Yeah that sounds a lot better. My mom's going to be proud.

"We're here" my mom said, or more like sang after 15 minutes of driving.

"Great because my butt was just starting to cramp up" I said getting out the car and rubbing my now sore butt.

"This is going to be a long night, I think I need a drink" my mom said getting out of the car.

As soon as we got up to the porch and rang the doorbell my Aunt Tammy opened the door. And she was wearing a dress a really bright orange sleeveless dress that came just above her in need of a tan knees.

"Hey Vanessa, Welcome" my Aunt Tammy greeted my mom and gave my mom a quick hug looking around her for something.

(Probably for a gift)

"Well hi there Shelly" my Aunt greeted.

Ugh she called me Shelly. The name is Kelly. Sheesh is it that hard to remember.

"I haven't seen you since you punched that boy in the nose at Pizza Hut last year" she said with a smile.

Oh yeah I remember that. That's when my mom figured that I'm not cut out for keeping a job. I lasted a week a Pizza Hut. Poor guy, I broke his nose and got fired. He is the one that kept flirting with me. So I told him to back off or he would get punched he didn't listen.

"Yeah long time no see" I replied, mentally patting myself on the back for not saying that she looks like an orange Popsicle. Good job Kelly.

"So come on in you're just in time for the party to begin" my Aunt said gesturing for us to walk inside.

We walked inside and she led us to the back yard where there were about 15 other women who were chatting about and drinking champagne.

"Mom I think it's your que to get your drink on" I said nudging her with my elbow.

"Whatever. Kelly please don't get into any trouble" my mom said all amusement clear from her eyes.

"Mom I'll try promise" I said meaning each word.

*5 hours later*

Who knew in 5 hours you could make a stripper quit, make a woman bald, and make a penis shaped cake explode.

Now my mom's pissed and is now driving us home.

"On the bright side at least I'm not arrested" I said trying to ease the mood.

She looked like she wanted to laugh but said nothing.

"Mom"

Nothing.

"Mom"

Nothing.

"Mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mommy, mommy, mommy, mama, mama, mam-"

"What!" my mom yelled.

"Well if you're going to yell at me never mind" I said crossing my arms.

"Kelly I think we need to talk" my mom said tiredly.

"About what?" I questioned.

"About you wanting to go to public school" she said quickly.

Did the moon just turn purple or did she just say something about me going to public school.

I've always wanted to go to public school, the only reason I didn't is because of all the photographers and paparazzi.

You see my mom and dad are really famous actors so with all the publicity, got a little bit over whelming, so we had to move. We moved but I never have been in regular school before and I always wanted to go.

"I get to go to public school?" I asked hopping in my seat, making the car rock.

"Yes and will you please stop rocking I'm going to be sick" she said looking a little green.

"You can start Monday maybe it'll make you less hectic" my mom continued.

"WOOOOOO!" I screamed making my mom serve.

One car swerve later.

"Kelly!" my mom yelled.

That's me!
