Hello All :)

Chapter 11 :

Next time I get this brilliant idea of flying home, I need to make sure I go to the right one. I forgot all about us staying at my mom's friend’s house.

My poor wing took a beating when I hit the hard brick house, so now I must walk, in bird form, because apparently when you hurt yourself in a form it takes a while for you to change back.

To whoever made that a rule while creating shifters, should have a stick shoved up their a-

"Arthur!" I chirped. Wait a second did I just chirp? What the fudge!

Oh heavens to mergatroid, I can't speak English!

I quickly bird hopped up to him while I cradled my hurt wing to my chest. Arthur who was about to knock on my door, noticed me almost immediately, probably because I was squawking quite loudly.

He picked me up carefully. I could tell he was trying to be gentle as possible but he nudged my hurt wing and it took everything in me not to ugly cry as a bird.

“It’s going to be okay Kelly,” Arthur said reassuringly, I wanted to retort that he is not stuck as a bird but of course I couldn’t. He led me to an orange car parked in my parents’ driveway. Inside was the boy I flipped over also known as Jeremy. As Arthur climbed in, he put me on the dashboard of the car. It was freakin hot, I squawked very loud and jumped on Jeremy who was caught off guard, and he panicked like a fish out of water. His foot hit the steering wheel and hit the horn.

Arthur hurriedly grabbed me before Jeremy’s big ass smashed me.

“Chill Jeremy it’s just Kelly again,” Arthur explained to the heavily breathing boy in the driver’s seat.

“Dude,” Jeremy drawled out towards me, “Not cool.”

If I could roll my eyes, I would. It was Arthurs fault for putting me on the hot ass dashboard.

“Take us to the 3rd Pack House” Arthur said to Jeremy as he put on his seatbelt.

The car ride was long and my wing was starting to throb and cramp up. I hit that wall hard.

Everything was already huge thanks to my small size but it was weird seeing everything 10 times bigger than I was.

We arrived at “the 3rd pack house”, it was a three story white house with blue windows, and not to mention it was freaking huge.

Not even 20 seconds after we pulled up my mom burst out the front door, grabbed me, and rushed me back into the house. In the house, my dad stood worriedly with some man in a weird cartoon like tie.

“Here she is doctor,” my mother frantically said.

Dr. Weird Tie took me out of my mother’s hands and looked at me closely. I leaned my head back as he pulled me close to his face.

He closed his eyes and whispered some strange words and his hands started to glow and so did I. My injured wing began to tingle and he gently put me on the ground. Before my feet even hit the ground the front door slammed open and all you heard were feet stomping and growls.

Kyle came stumping up to me and let me tell you, it was freaking scary because not only were his eyes pitch black but I was still a bird and he better not step on me.

“I can feel her presence where is she?” he growled. Someone needs a chill pill; he looks like he is going to poop a watermelon.

To calm him down I flew in front of his face and his eyebrows raised up high. His eyes slowly went back to its normal color and he grabbed me and nuzzled his face to my face.

This looks and feels very awkward.

I chirped three times trying to get someone’s attention to get this hot boy off me so I can get back human.

No one got the hint, so I had to do it myself. I bit his cheek and he jumped and let me go.

I quickly shifted back into my human form and shivered. Why was it so cold in here?

“Kelly!” my mom and dad shouted at me and pulled me into a group hug.

“OW!” I yelled, “My arm still is still kind of sore.” I said rubbing it softly.

Someone cleared his or her throat, I looked up, and it was the person with the weird tie.

“Your arm might be sore for a couple of days so please be careful. If I may ask you damaged it quite well, how did this even happen?” he asked curiously.

All eyes were on me now as they awaited my answer.

“See what had happened was, I was jumped by a flock of blue jays and they got a couple of hits in on my arm but I handled them.” I lied.

If I told them, I ran into the brick house that would just be embarrassing.

“Okay anyway I think it’s time for you and me to have a talk,” Kyle stated while crossing his arms.

“You’re going to have to feed me first.” I said seriously.
