Chapter 5:

Okay universe I get it.

Sometimes your reaction times are faster than your thinking time.

For instance, if someone screams from downstairs maybe you should probably run downstairs to see what was going on instead of pushing the person next to you out of the bedroom window yelling ‘Save Yourself.’

Well we all can’t be normal.

After I pushed Justin out the window I ran downstairs to see what was going on.

A woman with a robe on was wide eyed and smiling a little too wide at my parents.

This ladies and gentlemen is a fan.

I slowly backed away from this awkward scene and barely made out of the living before I was spotted.

Crap!

Another annoying scream sounded from the woman’s mouth as she waved her hands up and down and jumped over to me.

Is this lady a Kangaroo?

“I am Nicole’s sister and let me just say it is very nice to you” she said excitedly shaking my hand, more like squeezing.

I gave her an awkward smile and thank the moon Nicole strolled in and seen the sight and groaned.

“Janet please don’t tell me you freaked anybody out.”

Janet repeatedly shook her head no. Liar.

“Well thanks for this incredibly awkward moment this have been but I have to go” I said backing away and going up stairs but not before Justin came through the door with leaves in his hair and clothes.

“What happened to you?” His mother asked with her hand over her mouth.

Justin didn’t say anything and just pointed to me.

Everyone looked at me and I just nervously laughed and gave a slight wave and ran back up the stairs.

Whew! That was close.

Okay picking out clothes was no biggie today because today was Tuesday and that meant Cookie Monster clothing.

A Cookie Monster shirt, black jeans, and blue vans completed the outfit.

Smurfs and Cookie Monster would be proud.

I grabbed my bag and went down stairs, successfully avoiding the crazed fan in the kitchen talking my parents to death, good job Kelly.

I walked outside to see that Justin was no longer wearing a bush on his head.

“Hey buddy you okay you look kind of mad” I said to the glaring Justin.

“Yeah, you know being tossed out of a window is a normal thing for me” he said sarcastically.

“Good, I thought I would have to apologize to you” I said wiping my forehead of relief.

“Shut up and get on the motorcycle” he said handing me a helmet and walking over to a blue motorcycle to my left.

I love motorcycles, I know it’s kind of weird for a girl to actually like motorcycles but I’m Kelly, which says it all.

I hopped on after he got on and slide on the helmet and held on to his sides.

He started the motorcycle and we were on our way.

*20 minutes later*

We pulled up to the school and parked into a parking spot.

Justin angrily got off the bike and began to yell at me.
