They sat there, silent, looking for thoughts, listening to static in the air.
He cleared his throat. "We should really-"
"No!" She exclaimed. "No, no, no, no, no!"
"How will we ever fix it if we don't talk about what happened in the first place?"She looked at him, with watery eyes and everything. "Nothing happened."
"Something did-"
"No!" She yelled, jumping to her feet. She looked down at him, he was small and regretful, but then again, she was too."If we don't talk about it it's like it's never happened." He explained.
"That's the point. It was a mistake, it was stupid, and it never happened." She said angrily.
"But it did happen!" He exclaimed. "I cheated on you okay? I kissed another girl, and you know what? I didn't like it, but I also know it doesn't make up for what I've done. Ignoring our problems is like ignoring someone when they ring your doorbell, fifty-three times. It will just bother you, constant and over your head, until you take care out it"
"I wasn't that bothered when you rang my doorbell fifty-three times." She said.
"Yeah well it bothered me." He said with a laugh and tackled her to the ground. They both fell with laughter, rolling around in the grass.
"Am I still mad at you?" She asked.
"That depends." He said. "Do you believe in us?"
