"Taehyung.."

I cleared my throat, "Hey, Eunji."

She looked like she wanted to cry, had she heard what I just said?

Who knows.

"Uhm.." she rubbed her arm, "You're technically missing.."

"You knew I'd be here." I said and looked away from her gaze.

"Yeah...so..I came."

I simply nod.

She didn't come to find me herself, she was sent to find me, just another reason to let her go.

"Taehyung?"

"Hm?" I looked at her.

"You need to go back."

"I know." I answered bluntly.

She took a step back and lowered her eyes timidly.

I really miss you, but I've screwed up so bad.. there's nothing left to do.

I don't want to hurt you anymore.

"Eunji?" I called.

She met my eyes, "What?"

I love you.

"Are you happy?" I asked.

Her eyes widen slightly but she remained calm, "Of course I'm happy."

What a liar, yet again, I need to stop. I have to. She doesn't want you any more, Taehyung. Fucking accept it.

I nod, "Good...I'll let you be happy then." I answered and turned away.

"Huh?" She took a few steps forward, eventually having to following me.

"Jongsuk must treat you right and all.. I know he's a good guy who means no harm so.. You two deserve each other."

She stopped walking, I turned to face her.

Her expression was shocked and undeniably cute at the same time.

I chuckled, "What?"

"Are you being for real right now?" She asked, "You're not drunk are you?"

I shaked my head no, "Is it really that surprising?"

She nods eagerly, "Of course it is, for all I know you could just be saying that."

"I am saying that and I mean it." I told her, "Taejoon shouldn't have to see us argue back and forth so...for his sake.. lets just keep it on low key and be mature adults."

She looked like she really couldn't believe what I was saying.

I smiled.

She scoffed, "You better not be playing."

"Look," I said, "I know it's weird that I have this sudden change but..." I observed her beautiful features, "I'm really just doing this for myself."

"What?"

"I can't continue hating everything and keep this grudge, in order to move on..I have to accept it."

"So what you're saying is...you don't love me anymore?" She asked.

Just by that question, I know she still loves me, but she's in denial. That's what I tried to help her realize, but it only causes more conflict.

I held her hand and pulled her close, "I'll always love you, Eunji." I assured, "But maybe you're right, what we had was in the past..and it needs to stay there. I'm sorry I punched Jongsuk in the face and I'm sorry for all the pain. I truly am."
