-Eunji POV-

I took a deep breath and tried to hold my stomach in as the tailor did her job and zip up my dress.

"It- ain't.. closing!" She said.

"Ugh. Stop. I'll just try the second dress I picked, in case this happened." I told her.

My mom was watching suspiciously.

The tailor nods, "Yes mam. I'll be back with your other dress you reserved. A first bride MUST look her best!" She cheered.

Mother: EXPERIENCED bride. This is her SECOND wedding.

Tailor: *awkwardly frowns* Oh... heh. Well.. it doesn't a matter. A bride must shine on her day.

Not unless she's feeling horrible..

I glared at my mother then rolled my eyes.

The tailor leaves quietly.

Damn dress. I turned to the side and looked at my profile.

I know why it doesn't fit...

"Are you pregnant?" My mother asked immediately.

"No." I said, "I'm not."

"Don't lie to me. I'm not going to fall for your shit again."

My eyes met hers, "Oh so NOW you're mad?"

"Mad?" She huffed, "I'm disappointed. Not once did you mention you were getting married. You nearly gave me a heart attack when I received the invitation. Are you out of your mind?"

I sighed and looked back at my reflection, "I'm perfectly stable mother."

She scoffed.

"Jongsuk and I deserve to be happy." I said.

"How more stupid can you get? I mean honestly, Eunji! Do you really think this is smart at all?!"

"If you're not happy, there's the door. And you're not enforced to go to my wedding." I said calmly.

She laughed sarcastically, "You know what? I'm just afraid for you."

I looked at her.

"I'll be waiting for the day you come crying to me. Because I will gladly say I told you so." She uttered.

"The only way I'll come crying to you, is if you're dead and 6ft under ground." I nearly muttered.

My mother took a step back and turned away, I'm sure she's hurt but the last thing I need is negative shit coming from her.

The tailor came back, "I got your dress."

I forced a smile, "Excellent. Let's fit it."

My second dress fit perfectly, it was just right as I predicted.

However, my mom excused herself from the fitting rooms.

I looked at the mirror, it's beautiful. Although I'm sad.

But I'm trying my best to hide what I truly feel.

"There you are, mam. Do you like it?" The tailor asked, "Would you like any arrangements? Adjustments?"

"No, it's fine. It fits well." I assured.

"So then.. would you like me to wrap it up for you?" She asked kindly.

"Yes of course. Heh, that's why I came here."

She nods and helps me out of the dress, as she did so, I noticed she was observing my body.
