Stuck With The Ex

"May." I muttered.

She happily waved goodbye and drove off, Taehyung walked inside and I immediately barged downstairs.

"Where were you?" I demanded to know.

"Hey babe." He took off his jacket and hung it on the coat hanger, "I was at work. You know.. practicing." He mumbled as he walked towards me.

He's lying to me.

This hurts so much, I hate him.

"Is that so?" I said and approached him.

He smiled, "Yeah. Would I lie?"

We stopped in front of each other.

My heart ached.

I frowned, "You think I'm an idiot?" I asked.

"Huh?" He seemed confused, "Are you ok?"

I slapped him hard enough to make him lose his balance.

He glared at me, "WHAT THE HELL!" He shouted.

"YOU WERE WITH MAY." I told him.

Taehyung's eyes widen slightly.

"I can't believe you don't have the heart to tell me the truth, you dare lie in my face." I cried.

"Eunji I-"

"What were you doing with her? WHY were you with HER?" I screamed.

"I can explain!" He shouted.

"Then explain yourself NOW!" I exclaimed.

He sighed, "I'm not even sure how you'll take this..."

I took a step back, my heart nearly dropped to my stomach, I looked at him in the eye.

He seemed like he was very hesitant to explain anything.

"What is it?" I asked lowly.

"May...." he trailed off.

Taehyung looked deep in thought

"May what?" I mumbled, "What about May?" I asked.

He took a deep breath, "May and I met up and made truce ok? I figured it'd be best to stay on her good side to prevent drama. You know?"

At first it was quite confusing, but I thought about it briefly and somehow, it made sense to me.

"Uhm.. yeah?" I said, "I can understand that... I think."

"It isn't what you were thinking," he took a step forward and held my hand, "I love you."

A soft grin plastered on my face, "I love you too.." I said and hugged him immediately, "I just don't want anything to ruin us again. Ok?"

Taehyung held me tight, "I know jagiya..I know."

I giggled and pulled away, "I swear if it were something else I probably would've ripped your head off. But, I'm glad it was just making truce."

He smiled softly, "Yeah.. just truce. Where were you today, though?" He asked

"I was with, Jongsuk." I said and walked to our bedroom.

"Jongsuk?!" He retaliated quite surprised.

"Yep, but don't worry, nothing happened." I looked at him.

We locked eyes.

"Mm.. well good then. I guess." He mumbled.

"You should probably shower then head to bed, I'm tired." I yawned.
