-Taehyung POV-

"Ok baby easy now.. go on to umma.." I told my baby girl.

She was waddeling adorably as I held her two arms, Eunji was across from us smiling with open arms.

Our baby girl giggled as I carefully let go of her and watched her take her first steps across the sand.

I smiled widely, "Yaayyy!"

Eunji smiled as well as she caught our daughter in her embrace and carried her, "Oh my gosh she did it! She took her first steps! Did you catch record it?" She asked me.

I nod, "Every second..hehe."

We exchanged a kiss, I looked at my baby girl, "You did it, Areum!" I cheered.

She giggled and flashed that smile that makes me melt.

Kim Areum.

My beautiful precious little girl.

I was there for Eunji while she was growing inside, and I was first to hold her when she was born.

I cried tears of joy because it was my first time experiencing that.

I'll never forget it.

Now she's almost 3 and finally walked on her own, I'm so proud of her.

"I'm going to walk by the water with, Areum, where's Taejoon?" My beautiful wife asked.

Eunji and I got remarried while she was 5 months pregnant. Everyone was there to celebrate. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding.

"I'll get him, he's sitting over there building a sand castle." I told her.

"You mean the one he just destroyed?"

I turned and saw my son sitting on the castle that took me 20 minutes to build for him.

"Ah! Taejoon-ah! No!" I exclaimed and ran towards him.

Eunji laughed as her and our daughter carefully walked towards the water.

Taejoon laughed as I picked him up.

"Oh you little troublemaker! Why did you ruin it? Huh?" I giggled and held him in my arms.

"It was an accident! Honest!" He said.

I smiled and kissed his cheek, "Well now you're going to help me rebuild it." I said and put him down.

"But I want to walk by the water with Mommy!" He told me.

"Not if I get there first~" I challenged him and ran towards my wife.

"Ya! No fair!" He yelled and ran behind me.

The sun was setting and the breeze was soothing, this beach day has been the best.

I got to Eunji first and carried Areum.

Taejoon soon caught up and held Mommy's hand.

"I win!" He cheered.

We all laughed.

Walking by the water with my family is really enough to make me happy.

Areum played with my hair as I held her, I kissed her cheek and admired my baby girl.

She's an angel, just like her mother.

I turned and gazed at my wife while she looked out into the open.

This is the girl I end up with, and I cannot find the words to express how grateful I am.

After all the heartbreaks, lies, and even tears, she's here. With me.

She's the mother of my children.

My soulmate.

My best friend.

I love her.

Eunji locked eyes with me and smiled, "What, Taehyung?" She said softly.

I smiled warmly, "Nothing.. it's just that.. heh .. I love you. Today was great." I said.

She chuckled, "It sure was, wasn't it Taejoon?"

"Yep! A nice beach day with my family is great! Can we go eat later?" He asked.

"Of course we can, what do you say, Eunji?"

She nods, "Most definitely."

The joy surrounding us is peaceful.

There we were, walking by the shore as a family and taking in this memorable moment together.

It all couldn't have ended better, because this isn't the end.
