Mark's POV
'Damn it! Why did he have to be so freaking cute!?' Mark silently cursed in his mind. 'Just stop thinking about it and everything will be fine!' As he thought this, the duo made their way into the door for their second class of the day; English.
Jack's POV
"Hey, I'm Mr. Stevens, but feel free to call me Michael. You must be the new transfer. Sean, was it?" The tall man in glasses looked at the green haired Irish boy with kindness in his eyes.
"M-my name is Sean, but most people just call me Jack." he said, still only a few steps behind Mark.
"Well Jack, you can sit over there by Mark, seeing as you two are already acquainted." Michael said, notioning to the pair of desks on the other side of the room.
"Thank you Mr. St- uh, I mean Michael." Jack was obviously nervous, though only he knew it wasn't because it was his first day, no no. It was because of the cutie with the black hair and the brown 'melt your heart and steal your soul with one glance' almond-shaped eyes. The boy that was only a couple of inches taller than himself, but somehow extremely intimidating and manly in comparison, while still having a kind and compassionate way of carrying himself.
Jack knew he had really outdone himself on this one.
"So hey, can I look at your schedule for a second?" asked the hunk of half-Korean goodness that Jack just-so-happened to be lost in thought about.
"Huh? O-oh uh sure! But why?" He asked and handed the boy his schedule.
"Let's see hmm..." Mark thought aloud "... so next is art with Ms. Chibi, lunch...hmm... and finally science with Mrs. Kaplan!" Mark yelled much louder than he thought he had, causing a few unnoticed stares by other students. "We have all the same classes!"
At this, Jack's eyes went wide, shock and joy both filling him as his blood ran cold. "W-we do?!?" He was stunned. How could they possibly have the same exact classes? 'Maybe it's meant to be?' Jack pondered, but quickly shook away the thought, 'Nah, he doesn't actually like dudes, I'm sure he doesn't! He's way too cute, I'd have to be the luckiest guy in the world!' At this, Jack began to frown, wishing that he was the luckiest guy in the world, just so he'd have a shot...
English class was over before he knew it, and the pair were off to their next class. Art. Art was a class Jack could actually do something in. A class where he could be himself, express how he felt, and just let go. He didn't feel pressured into hiding who he was in there, though he was worried. He didn't know if this teacher was going to be strict and force him to learn some bullshit about the history of art, or why we use art or something dumb to ruin the class for him. This worry disappeared almost instantly when the teacher introduced the class.
"Hello, class. I'm Ms. Chibi, but that makes me feel kinda old, so feel free to call me Sarah," the woman said shyly but cheerily. "Normally in a class like this there's structured guidelines or whatever, but most of the time you can just feel free to paint or draw whatever you like, whatever you feel. I hope you'll enjoy this class."
Now Jack was happy. He was in his element. He, of course, sat next to Mark, thinking about what he wanted to do, and he quickly got an idea.
Jack went to work, not caring about all the curious stares he got from other students, this including Mark and Wade, Wade being in this class with them.
Mark's POV
'What the hell is he doing?' he thought, intrigued by the green haired boy's speed and accuracy with a paintbrush.
"Look at that, you're boyfriend's got talent Mark" teased Wade, admiring the masterpiece being created before their very own eyes.
Mark wanted to insult Wade but was far too enticed and entranced by Jack's painting to focus on what his douche friend was saying. He began to recognize things from the painting that he could've sworn he'd seen before. Then it hit him.
"That-that's from To the Moon!!" Mark squealed in delight, overjoyed by the scene that his Irish crush had painted. "I love that game!" he said, once again getting much louder than he should in a public setting. The teacher just looked over at then with a confused and slightly startled face (you know the one) and gently shook her head, returning to what she had been doing before.
"Really?" Jack asked, honored that he had impressed the god of a man standing before him. "I love it too." he said, once again pondering the compatibility of him and his new crush.
They spent the rest of the class talking about video games, learning that they had actually played many of the same games, and even had very similar opinions and tastes, both falling deeper into their confused love for one another.
Hey! So that picture is supposed to be the one Jack painted, rights go to whom they're due obviously. I love To the Moon sooo much! Brilliant game! In case it wasn't obvious by now, I don't own diddly squat of what I write about, sooo... don't sue me please!!
