"What?" You asked as you stared at the raven haired boy that sat across from you. His face was screwed up into a serious expression as his lips were tugged into a straight line and his eyebrows were furrowed.

"I want you to teach me how to bake!" The raven haired boy exclaimed as he kept that serious expression on his face. You rarely saw Luffy with such a serious look that you knew by heart that he wasn't kidding. You raised an eyebrow and rested your elbows on your kitchen counter as you leaned forward.

"And why's that?" You questioned in curiosity.

"Because I want to make something special for someone" Luffy explained as the serious expression on his face started to lighten up and was replaced with a bright smile.

"Alright, fine. I'll teach you" you said as you nodded your head and looked at him. There was a slight pang in your heart, but you ignored it. You soon sat up straight and placed your hands on the edge of your counter and pushed back. The high chairs legs scrapped against the floorboards as you did this. You stood and stretched before you grabbed hold of your chin and cocked your hip as you started to think.

"Now, what's the easiest thing I could possible teach you how to bake" you thought aloud as you turned away from your friend/crush.

"I want to learn how to make a cake!" Luffy exclaimed as he threw his hand up, and like a child that knew the answer to a question, he started to wave it around frantically. You looked back at him and chuckled at the childish behavior.

"Fine" you said as you nodded your head. 'We won't do it from scratch though, save that for another time' you thought to yourself as you walked over to one of the kitchen cabinets and opened it. Your [Eye Color] eyes scanned the various products that littered the three shelves, cans of soup and boxes of jell-o powder, food dye, icing, ect. Your eyes lit up when you finally caught sight of a [Chocolate/White] cake mix box. You reached and pulled it down before you walked back over to Luffy who squirmed around in his seat in excitement.

You sat the box of cake mix down and started to get out all the things you needed out. You smiled at your neat and well kept kitchen appliances. You were a chef, working in the same restaurant as Sanji. It's how you were able to meet Luffy and the others. Today was your day off and you had originally planned to rest 'til the raven haired boy barged into your home and started demanding you teach him how to bake.

You looked away from the equipment and towards your friend. With your head you motioned for him to stand and come towards you. At first he stared at you with a confused expression, not understanding the signal before he nodded his head and stood. Once he stood next to you, you handed him an apron. Everything had started out practically well as you both put the ingredients into the bowl.

The problem started when you gave Luffy the automatic whisk and left to use the restroom while he mixed the ingredients together. It was only a few seconds while you were gone, you didn't even take noticed of the noises that came from the kitchen as you used the restroom. When you were finished and all cleaned up, you made your way back to the kitchen, only to freeze at the doorway. You looked around as cake mix dripped from the ceiling and was splattered on the walls. Luffy stood there; confused as, from head to toe; he had clumps of cake mix in his hair and on his apron.

He held the automatic whisk that was whirling around at a fast pace while he tightly held it. You made your way further into the kitchen and towards your raven haired friend. Gently you pried his fingers away from the automatic whisk and turned it off before sitting it down on the counter. You sucked in a deep breath and placed your hands on Luffy's shoulders while staring straight into his brown eyes. "What exactly did you do?" though your voice was calm as you asked this, your grip on his shoulders tightened enough to make him wince.

"Well I did as you asked, but then I kind of lost my hold on the bowl and it started to whirl around with the automatic whisk" Luffy explained quietly, like a child that was caught doing something bad. You took in another deep breath and closed your eyes. You calmed yourself down and let go of his shoulders as you took a step back. "[Your Name], are you mad?" He asked.

"Mad?" you questioned as you tilted your head and gave a strain laugh. "Of course I'm not mad at you! Can't you see just how happy I am right now?" You seethed out as you glared at your friend/crush.

"Oh, that's a relief" Luffy said, laughing as a sweat dropped appeared over your head. Clenching and unclenching your fists, you sucked in a sharp breath and hit the boy on top of the head. Which earned you a loud whine in response to your assault, "what was that for?" Luffy asked.

"Of course I'm angry, you ruined my kitchen, jeez; remind me never to leave you alone ever again!" You snapped as you crossed your arms and huffed. Luffy stared at you with a frown as he rubbed his aching head. He frowned as he saw how upset you were and without any warning he wrapped his arms tightly around you and rested his head on top of yours. "Eh?" you questioned as your cheeks begin to heat up. "What are you doing?"

"I'm sorry" Luffy mumbled as he held you closer while the blush on your face darkened.

"If you're sorry then you have to clean this place up...on second thought that'll probably make things worse" you said with another sweat drop on the back of your head. You remembered how the boy was indeed horrible at cleaning, as you had witness him break a bunch of dishes while cleaning them before. It grew quiet between you two before you sighed and wrapped your arms around him, returning the hug. "Luffy" you mumbled after awhile of silence.

"Hm" he hummed.

"Why did you want to learn how to bake, you usually like eating food more than preparing it?" You questioned him as you pulled back and looked up at him.

"Well, it's like I told you. I wanted to make something special for a special person" he said as he removed one hand from you and scratched the back of his head. His cheeks became a light shade of pink as he cast a glance to the wall were some cake mix was beginning to dry. In face he could feel clumps of the already dried cake mix in his hair come off as his hand rubbed against them.

"And pray tell who this special person is?" You asked, as you felt another pang in your chest. You waited a couple of minutes before you heard him lowly whisper his answer. "What was that? I didn't quite catch that" you hummed as you titled your head. The pink color on Luffy's cheeks darkened as he looked you straight in the eyes with a small smile.

"You" he answered. It grew quiet after that as you blinked your eyes and started to process this new information. Once you finally understood what he said, your cheeks became aflame a dark red as you looked away and started sputtering out random words that bunched up together and became hard to understand. Luffy laughed as he rested his hands on your warm cheeks and made you looked towards him as he tilted his head and little and pressed his lips to yours.

It was sloppy and you could tell the boy wasn't experience at all. You blinked your eyes before finally responding back hesitantly. When you both pulled away a light blush decorated Luffy's face as he smiled widely. Taking in a deep breath you tried to calm your fast beating heart while a small smile spread across your face. "Hey Luffy, why don't I try teaching you how to make a cake again, this time without leaving the room" you said.

The raven haired boy blinked his eyes before smiling widely as he nodded his head. "Yeah!" he exclaimed in delight as he hugged you and placed a small kiss on your cheek.

"But first, let's at least get this place cleaned up" you said, as you returned his hug and looked at the dried cake mix that still decorated the ceiling and walls.

"Yeah" he said with less enthusiasm this time as you laughed a little.
