You were special in a way, you had the ability to see the deceased. Despite this fact, no one believed you, not even your own crew. They saw it as a joke, they felt the words that left your mouth were amusing and some complimented that you make a great entertainer. Your captain, Trafalgar Law, on the other hand found it to be quite concerning. Especially with how you were acting lately. Law leaned back in his chair as he stared up at the metal roof of his office. He furrowed his brows as he remembered the day he asked you to join his crew.

-Flash Back-

The sunlight fluttered peacefully down on the small island. There wasn't much commotion going on as the villagers moved about their daily lives, some casting glances at the newcomers. Law and a few of his crew members walked through the opened market district of the island, looking at each stand they passed by. The raven haired man stopped and raised an eyebrow as he watched a [Hair Color] haired girl stumble in front of him. Her eyes were wide and frantic as she looked back before straightening herself out and quickly scrambled away.

It was quite strange, he wouldn't lie about that as he stared after her in slight amusement. He took note how the mild chattered of the villagers had ceased and was replaced with low whispers as they all hid their mouths with their hands and whispered to one another. A low 'tsk' could be heard coming from a near by stand as an older gentlemen shook his head. "Seems she's at it again that girl and her wild imagination" he lowly mumbled.

"Hm? Exactly what do you mean by that?" Law questioned, now interested as he walked over to the man's stand. His crew followed behind, curious as well.

"This must be your first time on this island, if you're asking me something as simple as that" the man said as he leaned against the counter of his stand and stared at the younger male. "That little lady that ran by isn't exactly right in the head, or that's just my opinion, others think she just has an overactive imagination" he said, as he shrugged his shoulders. "She runs around talking about how she sees those who are deceased, such a silly claim" he said, mumbling the last part as he shook his head.

"Is that all?" Law questioned, his crew making sound of interest and amusement at hearing such a claim.

"Well that's the gist of it, want to know more, why don't you go talk to her. I hear she likes to hide out in an old shack in the woods, the only place the doctors can't touch her" the man said.

"Why's that?" Penguin asked, curious.

"The forest is one place no one in the village wants to go near, its where most of the dangerous animals on the island lurk and if you don't know your way around you're bound to get lost. So, if you really want to speak to her, I'd be careful" the man said, lazily waving his hand as he showed he had no more interest in the conversation. Law nodded his head as he started to walk once again.

"You think we should check it out, captain?" Bepo asked as he looked down at Law. The man hummed as his lips twitched up into a smirk while his eyes shined with amusement.

"Sure, I'd like to see how much of this spiritual bullshit's real" he hummed as his crew nodded their heads and followed close to their captain.

-Time Skip-

"You sure this was a good idea, captain? I feel like we're lost" Shachi mumbled as he flinched and looked around the woodland area. The trees towered high above as their branches and leaves blocked out most of the suns rays, only allowing a bit of it to seep through and light the faded path a bit. Law hummed, not really answering as he stared ahead. He came to a stop when something drop in front of him, it was that [Haired Color] haired girl. She hung off of a tree branch as she let her arms dangle, along with her hair while her shirt rose up a bit to show her stomach.
