Maya's POV:

My alarm clock screams at me as I reluctantly drag myself out of the bed and wash up. I decided to dress for comfort today. I wore a penguin sweater and with that I pared it up with some skinny jeans. With my hair, I decided to leave it down, with a center parting and pinned my bangs to the side. My hair was rather long so it was straight and then towards the end it was wavy. I wore my daily amount of makeup which was basically, foundation, concealer, mascara and eyeliner. I managed to dress up and prepare for school rather quick, so I actually had time to eat breakfast and maybe talk to Mum. I walked downstairs and chucked my school bag on the couch.

"Dear! You woke up early today!" Mum smiled, turning around to face me with a spoon in her hand. "Yeah, thanks to my alarm clock" I yawned, laughing at the same time. "Enjoyed the school ball yesterday?" Mum questioned. I stiffened a little bit, knowing that I had a terrible night. "Y-Yeah, it was good!" I said, trying to sound enthusiastic as ever. "That's great!..I'm sorry I couldn't see you that night, I had night shift and I think I might actually have it today as well" she sighed, dishing out the scrambled eggs on a plate and handing it too me. Just as Mum had said that, her phone rang. "Sweet, please do me a favor and get that for me" she asked, pointing to her handbag. I quickly stood up and ran to her handbag, in time to pick up the call.

Me- "Hello?"

Person- "Hello Dr Scarborough, Nancy speaking, I'd just like to let you know that you do have a night shift job at Williams Hospital from 8:00pm to 4am today and tomorrow?"

Me- "O-Oh um sorry, this is Maya, her daughter speaking, I'll pass her the phone. Sorry!"

I stammered, quickly running over to Mum and shoving the phone in her face. I am so awkward.

Mum mouthed a "who is it" to me but I just told her to quickly take the phone. She sighed and took it from me. "Hello, Dr Scarborough speaking!" Mum started. "......Oh yes Nancy um sure!" Mum replied, tapping her watch on her wrist indicating that I had to leave to school. "Ok bye Mum" I whispered to her while running out the door.

-At school-

I walked down the hall, looking down, my books clutched to my chest. Suddenly, I bumped into a rather hard chest. I looked up to see someone who didn't fail to take my breath away every single time, Joseph Sugg. He looked down at me smirking. It's almost as if I lost all meaning to speak. He smiled knowing that I wasn't able to speak. He leaned down to my ear and whispered, "Hello Maya". He then left a soft kiss on the skin right under my ear. It made me shiver with pleasure as I shut my eyes. He then released and walked off. I was left there gobsmacked! I suddenly snapped and straighten myself out. Well? He wants to do this? Two can play this game Joseph.

-Sport-

I changed into my sport attire which was basically an over-sized tee and sport shorts. I threw my hair into a high pony-tail and slipped on my shoes. I grabbed my perfume from my sport bag and sprayed it on myself. I threw my bag to the side and walked out the door. Just as I was about to open the door, Arianna along with someone I'd never imagine she would talk to came in. There stood Arianna with....Emily?! They seemed to be laughing as they immediately dropped once they saw me. I didn't want to show any sign of weakness at the moment so I just walked out.

I couldn't believe Emily and Arianna were together! That annoyed me so much! Suddenly, from the corner, Caspar emerged and approached me. "Hey..um is Arianna in there?" he asked, gesturing to the girls' change rooms. "I don't really care right now.." I sighed and tried to walk off. Just as I was about to walk further, I felt Caspar grip on to my wrist. He lightly pulled me back. "Hey..what happened between you two?" Caspar asked, cocking his eyebrow. "Dude...she's just being really difficult..I don't want to talk about it" I sigh, mentally face palming knowing that Caspar and Arianna liked each other. From a far distance I saw Oli jogging over. "Hey guys!" he panted, sweat forming on his forehead. "Wow..someone ACTUALLY exercised!" I laughed, pretending to be super shocked. Oli replied by playfully rolling his eyes. Caspar just laughed. Suddenly, from the corner of my eye, I saw two girls, the girls that I didn't want to see right now. They suddenly stopped laughing and looked at my direction. Arianna looked at me, her eye brows raised and Emily just had her bitchy face on as always. I eyed Arianna's choice of clothing. She wore a slightly long tee and tied her shirt up, showing her belly while wearing her leggings. I walked off, I was SO turned off!

When I turned a corner, I was immediately slammed up onto a wall. My instant reaction was to scream but I silenced by a finger on my lips. This "mysterious" person was so close to me that I close smell it's scent. It was a mix of mint and cranberries....Joe?! "Joe?" I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "Mhmm.." he hummed, his body pressed against my body. "What are you doing?" I whisper-yelled. "Saying hi to my baby girl" he deeply chuckled. I don't know what it is but Joe's laugh just makes me want to melt into a puddle because it sounds like heaven. "W-Wha" I was suddenly silenced with his lips against mine. It had been so long since I had kissed him and that was one of the most intoxicating things in my life. I moved my lips with his and I could just feel him smiling against my lips. He pulled away and darted towards my neck. He started leaving butterfly kisses up leading to my jawline. "Aren't I supposed to hate you?" I whispered, closing my eyes at all this intimacy. "Jump" he mumbled, completely ignoring my question. I just obey by jumping as he caught me, his hands on my thighs holding my weight as I wrapped my legs around his waist. Soon enough, all this turned into an intense make out session with Joe. His lips trailed from my shoulder, to my neck, my jaw a back to my lips. Suddenly we broke apart because of the school bell. We both let out small laughs and I got off Joe. "See you later Maya" Joe whispered. Before he could walk out the door, my actions surprised him by standing on my tippy-toes and kissing his jaw since I was too short. "Bye" I smiled and walked out.
