Lexi's POV
We piled into Kara's car and were off to the Elements. There was something odd about Kara's story, I just couldn't place my finger on it. She just marches in claiming that she is a wizard. She also randomly clears our suspicions about Leo being a life bender. That's just plain odd.
We drove for a while. All you could see out the window is trees and occasionally a stream or an animal.
I sat in the back between Leo and Jack. They were both very quiet. Nobody spoke for the longest time. You could hear Maria and KAra talking in the front. Most likely it was about their magic.
Leo nudged me on the arm. "So what do you think about Kara now?" he asked me. I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know. I mean, she seems convincing, but something is telling me she isn't being completely truthful," I said. Leo nodded. "Somehow I was thinking the same thing," he said.
Suddenly, the car took a sharp turn. We were near a huge sand dune.we all grabbed our bags and got out of the car.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the entrance of the Elements!" Kara said, motioning to the huge slab of rock over the sand dunes. "This doesn't look like much," Maria said. "Well, that's because it takes a whole team to get through the cave and to the actual headquarters. It will be a challenge without any advisors, but I think we can do it. Now, who is ready for an adventure!" Kara said.
