This is my first fight scene so it's probably going to be terrible.

Alec POV

I side stepped just as Damien reached me. His sword clashed against the floor, a loud ring was heard. I grabbed my bow turned, and shot an arrow at him. It landed in his shoulder. I had my bow up, ready to fire as he gripped the arrow and yanked it out of his shoulder, blood oozing from the wound.

"That was a nice shot, caught me off guard."

He gripped his sword and instead of attacking, he began to circle Magnus and I. My eyes stayed with his body, watching his movements closely, trying to predict his next move. Magnus' hands were glowing blue as he watched Damien.

Finally Damien lunged, but not at me. Magnus threw a ball of magic at him, but Damien raised his sword, blocking it. It seemed as if the sword absorbed Magnus' attack.

Magnus actually laughed, "I had a feeling that would happen. Who did you get to enhance your sword?"

Damien thought for a moment, "If you're dying wish is to know which warlock helped me kill you then so be it. His name was Allen Boyd, he's dead now though, couldn't have someone getting to him and getting a sword like this now could I?"

Magnus nodded, "That's what I thought."

Then Damien jumped at Magnus with his sword. I shot an arrow into the air, it landed in his knee. From there the fight consisted of his sword clashing with one Magnus had made appear and me shooting arrows and throwing blades. No one had the upper hand.

Magnus gripped his sword and slashed at Damien's wrist, the hand holding his sword falling to the ground and taking the sword with it. Damien screamed out in pain and fell to his knees.

I pointed my bow at his head, "This is for all of the innocent people you killed." Just as I was about to let the arrow fly, he smiled. A dark and sadistic smile that made me stop. "Do you really think you've won?"he laughed as he spoke.

"I've been planning this for so long, of course I have a backup plan. I never expected to survive this." He laughed harder and shook his head, "You didn't notice them."

I tightened my grip on my bow, "We didn't notice what?" He shook his head again. I shot him with an arrow in the arm and he screamed out in pain, "Answer me!"

Magnus put his hand on my shoulder, "Calm down Alexander."

Damien lifted his head up, "You didn't notice the puncture wounds on your father's neck. We took his blood already. We used it on someone, and now you will never find them. I may die, but my dream will not die with me. She will carry on my legacy. She will, along with her brother. One day, they will bring this world to its knees. They will destroy everything in their way, and I will be watching from hell, a proud father."

He stood up then and pulled something from his jacket. "But I will take you two with me." He pressed a button on the box in his hand. At first, nothing happened, but then the building started to shake. The walls were cracking, as was the floor.

A part of the ceiling fell, and then walls started collapsing. I stared at him in disbelief. Magnus pulled at my arm.

"We have to get out of here, this building is collapsing in on itself."

He pulled me down the hallway, I heard the laughter of Damien Bellewood as we ran. We dodged blocks of the falling ceiling and jumped over the holes in the floor. Magnus had to stop us a few times, using magic to move parts of the building out of our way.

We had just barely made it out of the door when I heard it. I heard a baby crying. A baby!

I stopped walking and Magnus turned around staring at me, eyes wide.

"Did you hear that?"

He shook his head, "I didn't hear anything, now let's go!" He pulled at my arm but I yanked it out of his grip and turned toward the crumbling building.

"I heard a baby crying." Then those words played in my head, whatever you find, you bring with you. Was this what Justin was talking about, a baby?

"Baby please don't do this, I didn't hear anything." Magnus pleaded, knowing what I was about to do. I shook my head before turning back around and throwing my arms around Magnus.

"I love you so much, more than I ever thought possible. I'm sorry." I kissed him, with everything I had. It didn't last long, but it felt like we were standing there for hours. I ran deeper into the crumbling building.

"Alec!" Magnus tried to run after me but a part of the building collapsed in front of the main entrance, locking him out and locking me in.

I kept running, following the sound of the baby. I had to find the child, I promised Justin, and I keep my promises.
